your zero cant move due to a magnifier. That’s not how this works. Or do you mean your crntric fov has moved? because I‘ve never heard of a G33 moving.

I’m waiting on the G45 clone from Amazon. I’ve been searching for reviews, yours is the first I’ve seen. Good to hear.

I bought one of these bc I already had a red dot and wanted to try the magnifier/dot combo setup before committing to a $500 purchase. Turns out, I'd much prefer a fixed optic scope with an offset red dot. The dot/magnifier setup weighs a lot and it's tacticool but it's not functionally cool in my eyes. Great video!

If the dot get too big when you magnify it put the magnifier in front in front of the dot instead of behind it

Im not sure how that would work with retaining zero. Magnifiers move a lot, which would change where the dot sees, I would assume. Even if it didnt affect zero, the eye relief would be too large to work.

Can you review the Eotech Vu-Du clone they are offering now? Would love to see that in action.

thats why I started this channel. The only people that reviewed cheap stuff, didnt actually test it and were just trying to sell products for companies. So I decided I would test the cheaper stuff myself 😀

The g43 clone is a lot better and has way better eye relief

True, but you only get more usable eye relief if you remove your rear sight. Otherwise you loose that eye relief because you are forced to mount it in front of your rear sight.

​@@scottmcbride2237Hey, just to clarify, you mounted a flip sight behind the g43 clone (shorter magnifier of the 2) and the eye relief was still good, utilizing a stock or brace? I was thinking about buying the g33 so i could use my sights stll but ive been seeing that people prefer the g43.

the g45 clone is actually pretty decent.

unfortunatly no. The screw holes are the same, but its to “fat” to fit. Hopefully Unity will make one for it.

@@poortac5568 no personal experience with the unity mounts but im thinking that its because the unity mounts are drilled with imperial measurements in mind while Primary Arms (Chinese) uses metric screws? Perhaps an option is to buy the aliexpress knockoff of the Unity magnifier mount.

For an air gun is great . Most times it wont be used . For a fire arm may not be so good

i watched your pinty magnifier review and bought one. they really arent worth the money imo as they are not waterproof at all and i dont think you ever claimed they were, but, after i dish soap camo'd it and rinsing it, i never got the moisture out of it . and then when i took it off the rifle, the mount just literally busted into pieces because of paint!? though. i do love your channel but beware of chinese stuff

Dang thats weird that the base fell apart. Ive used multiple bases like those for a long time and havent had an issue. I actually took the Eotech clone base and swapped it with the Primary Arms 6x magnifier base, since the PA base wasnt QD. Its been going strong for about 1000 rounds of shooting. I honestly dont remember if the Pinty is waterproof or not (they dont say on the website). Id try to warranty it and see what they say. Im also going to add a comment to that video that its not waterproof. Thanks for the update. I ended up putting mine on a spare range AR that is just a range toy. I agree, Chinese stuff is mainly for range toys, not serious use stuff. If its less than $200, Its probably not something Id trust my life to. Thanks for the support! 😀
