Where should i put my chinchillas in my house, i don't have a shed and idk where to put them when i get them.... My mom says she wants it away from her office so i might have to put it in my room, would it be too noisy in there?

Well, I know where I am we've had some cooler/nicer days like today and yesterday. Yesterday was SUPER nice, it was 50-70 f. Heck, right now it's 61 f!

I think, just like dogs or cats, some chinchillas are vocal and loud while others arent. Maybe check the temp to see if its too hot for them to want to be active. If its eating and drinking normally then it should be fine, just keep a close eye on it and take weight.

Well it depends how many chinchillas you have cuz I would be quiet too if I had no one to talk to if i was a chinchilla

I use and have made thousands of fleece liners the best way to make those light liners shine is to either bleach your liner or for a more “gentle” approve use a cup of white vinegar in your wash :) not only does it get that nice extra clean it brightens the fabric $2.99 ish a gallon most Walmart’s targets and fleet farm stores carry gallon vinegars :) love your videos

A Chinchilla shed!!!

Hi~ I love your new set up. I just wanted to let you know that you might want to change the wood houses that you have for your chinchies. I used to get the same one and recently my chinchilla chewed off one of the wood pieces on the slanted part and exposed that there were nails used to hold it together so I immediately got rid of it to not risk any injury. I would just keep an eye on them so they don't get hurt!

You can also add some bridges to climb. Do they get free run outside the cage somewhere in the house?

I’m getting a chinchilla but I’m not sure what kind of bedding should I get what would you recommend me? Also me house is a hot during the day but cold at night

I feel like it's wrong to have the chinchillas in a shed that is disconnected from the house.. I know they have eachother but they need to be around their owner. Additionally what would happen if something happened to one of them and you weren't there to witness it because you are in the house?? What if it gets too hot/too cold in the shed?

Looking good! Are you going to chin-proof the shed for play time? My young chin has also snapped bars in multiple places in the Critter Nation cage. I'm not sure what to do about that.

You can find a chinchilla breeder in your area, you could also go to a rescue, or possibly Craigslist.

I watched many of your video's before buying my first one. She's 2 yrs old and I got her from a breeder. She mentioned she had 3 babies. My guess is she didn't want her because she wasn't making babies. She is such a sweet girl. Wish I could figure out own to flip things around as far as night and day. She makes a big commotion at night to let me know she's ready to play and wants out so I'll get up and the cage door and she leaps into my lap.

I bought the one she recommended and also noticed the same thing. I when and got hardware cloth and zip tied pieces onto the play pen panels. I cut the hardware cloth to fit each individual panel and it still folds.

Do you not need to use bedding in the cages?

Where can I find the cages themselves? I can’t find any cages that suit what I want, but I just love the cages you have.

They can’t have dust in their cages all the time. It’s best to only give the baths twice a week or so to prevent over bathing💕

so i got a chinchilla 3 days ago and she has already bonded with me I named her penny and she responds to me when i call her name I do feed her ox bow and her cage is 5 1/2 feet tall cage and has 4 stories she does have ramps she loves her cage and I already have a few funny chinchilla stories I'm so excited for whe she fully bonds with me my chinnie like dried apples they are specifically made for small animals and on he list of animals chinchilla is on there

Those Oxbow Treats really arent' safe for chinchillas. They have a lot of fruits and veggies in them, which upsets their stomachs. The cranberries are high in sugar and are acidic. Bananas are also acidic, high in phosphorus and sugar. And apples are high in sugar and are also acidic
