Thanks for using my cage in your video!☺️ It was number 6. The cage is handmade, but not by me, I'm not that good at making things. 😅But I'm working on making some more toys for my chinchilla now so she would have many things to play with. And the wheel is 38 centimetres which is 15 inches I guess :)

I would recommend if you have plastic ledges in your cage to just take it out and add wood ones not just add fleece liners

Why must palstic be covered? I haven't covered all plastic in my cage (and they don't chew on it!)

I know this was posted a while ago but can someone please explain to me about the chins under six months and the wheels. My chinchillas are under six months and they have a wheel. Is there something wrong with it?

I would get something that has 2 stories and is similar height to the feisty ferret/critter nation cage. Chinchillas love to jump so it's important that you give them room to do that! 😁😁

Sure, when I do part 2, I will make an announcement on my youtube channel as well as on Instagram @chinchilla_kingdom. All you have to do is either email or DM me a photo of your cage :) There will clearer instructions when I announce it! 😊

Hi, happy early birthday! 🍰 🎁 🎂 🎊 I can't lie to you, but in my opinion I'd say it's easier to build bonds with younger chinchillas, that's why breeders usually price younger ones at a higher cost. But don't get me wrong, by being patient and gentle, building a bond with an older chinchilla should be a piece of cake. But if you are getting an older one, you should always ask if they had an owner before, and see the previous owners were taking good care of him/her. I would say there is no difference between getting a male or a female chinchilla, except females can sometimes be more expensive only because they can carry baby chinchillas. But keep in mind, if you end up getting another chinchilla, make sure to get the same gender if you don't want baby chinchillas! :)

@@intrestpique Wow very exciting! The age really depends on if you decide you want an older or younger one. But don't get any chinchilla under 2 months since they are too young at that point. 😊

A lot of the recommendations here are wrong. I’m only half way through the video, but the cage that you said was too small in the first half, was big enough for 2 (still a bad cage, but it WAS big enough). Wheels should not be given until 1 year old, and are NOT necessary at all. Also you’re not mentioning the truly important stuff, such as plastic NEEDS to be covered, and the ONLY fabric they can have is non pill fleece. Cages should also not be too tall with nothing in the middle. Chinchillas can fall and get hurt super easy.

In your video it seems like your feeding your chinchillas raisins, never feed a chinchilla raisins.

This "expert" cage reviewer is rambling on about toys knick-knacks but nobody's going to question whether not the 1:31 cage has glass pannels? If so that means the chin has very poor air flow. 🤦
