Simply: you are not being left free... but on the contrary, to change the eternal dependency from Europe to China's... So continue to love China ... sure...

Same mate, I'm American myself and I have visited China and Malaysia multiple times over the past 15 years, it's incredible to see the advancement in China. Meanwhile my hometown in America, and 90% of places in America in that same time are actually worse today, than they were 15 years ago. That says allot. Even Malaysia has more modern infrastructure and transport than America does today. The American empire is dying, no question about it.

I’m an American. Before becoming politically literate, I would think that this video was propaganda. However, now I think both American capitalists and American socialists would agree that China is going to replace the US in global dominance. Sadly for me, as an American, we are plagued with the hubris of a decaying empire. Like Icarus we flew too close to the sun, but instead of it melting the candle wax that bound our wings together, it blinded us from the consequences of our ways. I hope China, if it does replace us, doesn’t do the same

@@bockscar1 nope, wrong. I just don’t understand the need to get defensive about this stuff. Empires rise and fall. The hubris of our leaders since Raegan has hollowed out our economy, and the militarism has been bankrupting us. We are all divided because we are subservient to ideology now. Our homelessness crisis is exploding and yet we do nothing. The list goes on an on of examples of how being the world police, or the center of world trade, or all of these things us Americans say to deny that we are an empire (for literally no reason I’m honored to live in the most powerful empire since Rome) is killing our ability to handle crises at home. Meanwhile, china is looking pretty similar to how the us was at this time last century. That’s not to say that I like everything about China. I prefer western democracy and “new deal” capitalism that we used to practice (Keynesianism). I’ve just accepted that we are at the point where we seriously need to consider this possibility. And I, for one, would rather hand the torch off peacefully, like Britain did to us last century, than right a 3rd world war about it

There are around 20 of them and they are selling crack cocaine. After 8 months of it, frustrated made my 2nd call and was scolded by the male policeman for calling him over to deal with it. As a Chinese, I was amazed at these bridges and highways that connect those hills of over 5000m high. Honestly, our government has invested a lotttttt of money in the infrastructure in Tibet and Xinjiang. The rich provinces are allied with different cities of Tibet and Xinjiang, to offer aid to them both financially and about professionals. Why would the government do that if it wants to genocide Uygurs? Come to China and see it yourself. Welcome to CHina.

I am Native American Indian and my family is Indigenous to this land from the USA, and I know for a fact that China is way more advanced than the U.S.. I really think that is super cool! We as Americans can't get anywhere because of all of the stupidity and ignorance that is going on in our country, People are too busy hating each other and fighting, and the politicians and government are too busy filling their pockets more than caring about it's people. It's sickening!! We need to get it together. That's why Asia is the most well advanced country, and the most prosperous, they work together and have a lot more knowledge and ability than we do. I give them so much respect for everything they do because if it wasn't for Asia, we wouldn't have anything!! and that's a true fact!! As a Native American Indigenous person, We don't like fighting or hassle with any other culture, we are the ones who help others, but SOME people only want power and money over land that does not belong to them, they want to conquer everything and everyone, then leave them on the wayside to die or kill them while they suck everything that those people have out of them and what they stand for and not even care..It's a freaking shame..and the poor people who go to war for this country, when they come home from war, they don't even take care of those people who have or need mental stability, or who are permanently injured, We have so many homeless people, and run down areas, etc. But that's ok because they are the ones that have to answer to God when they are burning in hell for eternity just for being evil and wicked!!

It doesn't matter how strong a bridge is, there is no guarantee one day it would not fail due to aging, let alone a complicated one. This is my honest opinion. Thanks again for showing us the progress of China. Stay happy brother 🙏.

My wife was one of those people sent by Mao to work on a farm for 2 years. A few years ago, we went back to visit the farmers family. They certainly weren't poor any more. They owned the local concrete pipe factory and the 4 story karaoke bar complex and they had a housing estate under development. We visited the old lady to give her some money but she said she didn't need it - "the government gives us money now". Another time, we visited a rural family who still had their family farm which they rented to sharecroppers. They had a new car and the daughter had just returned from doing a PhD in Germany. I read in the media how 600 million Chinese still live on less than $0.60 / day but my experience from living in Zhengzhou for 2 years and travelling quite a lot including Qinghai and Xinjiang is that the 600 million in poverty is a lie repeated so often that many people believe it. Sure my examples may be un-typical but you only have to open your eyes to see that actually, they are not. New houses, new cars, new public works are everywhere.

@Elena P. Europe is declining, i think they wil decline faster than even America, you can hardly name any high tech internet company or any cuting edge technologies of Europe leading the world. they are still eating away the bonuses of the first two industrial revolutions from which they still have some competative edge. time of small countries leading and conquering the world is over, only countries with enough people and market will succeed in future, india seems to be traped in their own problems, so is brazil, Russia is on wrong course, very hard for them to change and adapt. in 3 decades these advantage of west Europe won't be much left. China though now don't have good wellfare compared to west Europe, but China is on right rising course, I think your sister made a right choice to stay and work in China. choose Europe is like boarding a luxurious ship but sadly it will soon sink. fancy but life risky

@Elena P. working condition is in positive corelation with stages of economic development. China 20years ago, most people had much worse working condition and welfare, cause most of our jobs are labour intensive and low profit. now with the development, the working conditon and welfare has improved alot. in another 10-20years wil be better than today, Europe's most profit sectors is being gradually caught up by China and other asian countries, like big airoplanes, automobile, telecommunications etc, and they also lag behind in new technology sectors like space technology, A.I , Nano technology, internet, 5G, 6G, auto driving, quantum computering, etc. and Europe will continue to have some advantages for 20-30years, but i would want my child to grow up in China where is the futre. and safety is another extra plus for, China, i believe china is the safest place on earth.

@Elena P. the salary rise cause high labour cost, less compatative of low prifit products, which lead to mid-income trap, this had happened in southeast asian countries, like Malaysia and thai and argentina, but i think china will pass this, we have enough domestic maket, and enough innovations in industrial sector and scientific sector, a powerful central government's support and advantage of long term planning, which other countries don't have, so I'm not worried china stuck in mid income trap. im postive of china's develpment.

@@user-yc8yu8qv3q Unchecked capitalism, plain and simple. Marx never said capitalism didn't work, but that it is destructive and immoral. At least in China Deng Xiaoping understood this, allowed strictly controlled capitalism with much government regulation and still maintained more than half of the economy publicly owned and operated to benefit all. Thus harnessing the productive qualities of capitalism, while negating it's destructive downsides. That can only be done with a Socialist movement leading the way for the people. In the EU and US. Everything is run for and by corporations and business interests only, they are all that matter, and they will line their pockets with money even as the country burns, they care only about their personal wealth, nothing else.

I truely hope to be able to communicate in Mandarin in the future. My advise to anyone who wants to learn a new language consider Mandarin. With the enormous growth of China and its products and people spreading all over the world Mandarin could become the new universal language such as English has been. China is truely becoming a world leader. I'm not Chinese so I'm not biased, I'm South African and I have seen what 3rd world looks like. China is definitely not.
