In just over a decade China has built over 40,000 KM of high speed rail with trains traveling at speeds of between 300 to 350 Km/h. It is the world's longest high speed railway network and most extensively used. China's High speed rail accounts for two-thirds of the world's total high-speed railway networks... There's no other country in the world that even comes close to China's record.
Not only is China developing and improving the lives of it's citizens in China but also abroad too! China built this amazing high speed rail in Jakarta Indonesia. Reducing journey time from 3 hours to just40 minutes for the local citizens in Indonesia.
Meanwhile in the UK, their HS2 project is still not even started, it's been 20 years! and the costs just keep getting higher and higher. The UK, the US, and Western countries just simply cannot compete with China. The US and the UK is far behind!
China has been building an absolutely stunning amount of new infrastructure over the past few years, and the world is just won't believe it. From bridges to highways to airports, China is doing an amazing job of making a mark on the world stage.
From the massive bridges to the world's fastest railways, China is putting the US to shame with its amazing new infrastructure. If you're a fan of high speed rail projects, then this video is definitely for you!

This is a very biased statement and incorrect. Both countries provide humanitarian, infrastructure and military aid to a multitude of different countries. The United States leads the world in Humanitarian aid more than 4 times the next country. One can be proud of their country without putting down another. This goes both ways to US people putting down China. Both countries do somethings very well, but neither country is perfect and without faults. We all have room to grow.

@@jamesreese4170 But the USA is the one who done it the most and in extremes article in term of putting down and slandering China. "The collapse of China" has been running for at least 30 years now and still going by USA. "The collapse of CCP" has been running for at least 40 years now and still going by USA. I mean just compare USA's news article in every US media with the Chinese media and we can have bigger view which one has more desire on putting down or slandering. China provide countries with AI Smart Robotic Ports and HSR trains. USA has NEVER provided countries with AI Smart Robotic Ports or even ONE HSR train (they don't even have it in their own country, because more than 1/2 Annual Tax Payers money goes to un-audited Military Industries, who build USA Military Bases all over the world ... over 800 USA Military Bases around the world ... WHY? The World does NOT want them).

Indonesia learns a lot from their former colonial master, the Netherlands. It stupidly chose to side with the Americans before the onset of Pacific War and impose oil embargo to Imperial Japan. The consequences couldn’t have been more disastrous to them and their colonial subjects, i.e : the native Indonesians 😢. It stupidly also decided to collude with American and forced its very own crown jewel, ASML not to do business with China. Such reckless stupidity certainly don’t pay😂.

At this point, it would now make no difference if the U.K. railways were re-nationalised - the fares would continue to go up and the service would continue to go down, including in terms of punctuality and reliability - the U.K. trade unions have been allowed to become way too powerful and successive U.K. governments at the very least, have not got the courage required to take strong enough legal and other measures against the trade unions and thier leaders, who are deliberately running the U.K. railways into the ground and have been for decades, in a deliberate and premeditated plan of managed decline and failure to properly invest in the railways since the 1960’s right up to HS2, which the trade unions consistently have blocked - the only way in which things will change with the U.K. railways is that things will get far worse - the U.K. government is too afraid to challenge the power of the trade unions and passengers and rail workers alike are suffering as a consequence - for starting these rail strikes, at the very least, the trade union leaders should be in jail for life

But till today, we still can't see their first HSR running after so many years and so far behind scheduled. Many elderly Indians was very happy and excited when India announced of building the first HSR and hope to take their HSR at least one in their lifetime. Unfortunately many wasn't able to live long enough to have the chance of the lifetime dream. Really sad for those elderly.

So our government cancelled the project with Japan because China offer us to do technology Transfer. China teach us the technology, how to make this speed train. So we can make it ourselves in the future. And now, Indonesia has the biggest integrated train manufacture in SouthEast Asia Called PT. INKA. We export our train to other southeast Asia countries like Philiphines, Thailand, Vietnam. We export to Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Africa, and many more.

Whoosh! Indonesia is smart. If the bid for the Jakarta Bandung HSR had been awarded to Japan, you probably wouldn't be on the ride today because it would not have been built yet. Another project, from Jakarta to Surabaya around the same time was awarded to Japan, and guess what, nothing was done to it and the Indonesian government simply had to cancel the project! OMG! The Vietnam government awarded a HSR project to Japan but same, same as the Jakarta Surabaya HSR, Japan came back and said the project could only be completed by 2045 or later??? Well, it is as good as cancelled. In India, because India is so jealous of China, they could only award it to Japan and nothing much is done yet but now, both countries are quarrelling and blaming each other. Whoosh! Indonesian is smart and better off working with China. Japan is yesterday, and China is the future, now! Whoosh!

I have a question. Western countries always claim democracy and freedom, but ordinary people in Western countries have better urban infrastructure in the West and hope that their countries and societies will be safe. But why can’t leaders of democratic Western countries hear the voices of ordinary people? Why spend money on war without the consent of ordinary people? I am very confused about what kind of democracy is this? A democracy in which the voices of ordinary people cannot be heard? Is democracy in Western countries just democratic freedoms that serve the upper elite?

When the human body is an embryo, it will first create blood vessels, and then use these to transport enough nutrients to grow tissues. Sometimes, the maintenance of some tissues and organs seems useless, such as germ cells. But you can't wait until you need to give these cells nutrients. The body will always supply blood to peripheral tissues. If your body does not first build a neurovascular network, it will be difficult for the human body to develop normally, and the terminal tissues will be underdeveloped, deformed, and even necrotic. For capitalists, "cannot make money immediately" is meaningless. It is impossible for them to be willing to pay or even endure losses to wait for a comprehensive overall value improvement! They will be more willing to continue to build their own network of adoptable nutrients. They only care about themselves and not the whole. In fact, this behavior is very much like cancer cells…. Cancer will continue to plunder the human body's resources, but it will not participate in building and repairing the human body.

Meanwhile in Germany: A train ticket to the nearest University from my home city costs me 28€ (58€ both ways) and it takes something between 1.5 and 3 hours (1h by car) for the train to get to the destination (I mean if it arrives at the destination at all! My record was being for 8h on the damn train and being stranded/stuck multiple times because german trains break down A LOT). And please watch out when you have to take the train in Germany: There is often piss and other nasty human secretions on the ticket-machines (especially in Frankfurt) and people steal your bags and nobody can or will help you as the cameras inside the trains "can't be used to check who stole the bag" as one train employee told me. Another thing you should be aware of before using the ridiculously overpriced and dysfunctional public transportation in Germany is that a big part of german prisoners are in prison because they didn't buy train/bus tickets. Anyway, just don't come to Germany if possible and save your money for a nice China visit.

@@DJs021 so true. Also I know what they teach at german Unis and I saw what they teach young school kids in China. So I got the impression that China's school and higher education is far, far superior to Germany's Uni education. Our Unis in Germany are absolute chaos and tend to lack even some basics such as enough desks and chairs for studying or motivated professors (too many just read from a book and call it a lecture). There are thousands of more big problems with German Unis but it'd take me a whole week to talk about it. So I don't completely understand why so many Chinese parents think western education is a good idea. I know cultural exchange and so on can be good an eye opening, but if I was working in an HR department in a Chinese company, I'd not value western Uni degrees higher than Chinese school degrees to be honest 😂

  • @kremigmitsahne7197

    @kremigmitsahne7197

    5 ай бұрын

@DK-ev9dg unfortunately most Germans still don't seem to care about their crumbling infrastructure, corrupt politicians/corporations, and exploding costs of living. Everyone at work keeps always quiet about it. They for the most part still believe Germany is Number 1 at everything and countries like China can't be anything but hell. And oh boy do they get offended if you point out certain bad conditions in Germany (conditions that wouldn't be accepted by the people in China for instance). Too many in Germany hate being exposed to the truth and love to shower in western media propaganda which make them feel all warm inside and superior because "we are the good ones! And at least we don't have it as bad as in China, Russia, etc.!!!". So I only feel sad for the few Germans who care and are honest enough to look beyond their own nose and critizise our disgusting, genocidal regime. Those Germans don't deserve what's happening to Germany. The rest are snobbish, infinitely arrogant, cynical, self-righteous idiots who only care about themselves and would support any atrocity comitted against anti-imperialist countries just because their media and bosses ordered it. The boot licking behaviour in Germany is insane beyond imagination and one has to experience it themselves to understand how bad it really is. To say that "to crawl to the bigwigs and bully the underlings" is Germany's national philosophy would be an understatement... I'm sorry I can't say anything more positive. I live in Germany almost my whole life for 30 years.

Don`t forget this HSR Jakarta-Bandung was build during `Covid pandemic` times, it would cost less if there was no pandemic. But yes, the price extension is quite reasonable.

Despite what we see in the US, we are incessantly told that everything is fine. "Bullet Trains" have run brilliantly in Japan for 50 years. Japan, France, China, Korea, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Italy, Türkiye, Indonesia, Russia either have extensive operating higher speed train lines or are building them.

The difference in values between China and the United States is that China will think about how to minimize consumption and make it convenient for the people, while the United States will think about how to maximize consumption and package it brightly so that someone can pay for it!

7:45 you would never get this from Manchester Piccadilly or Manchester Victoria to Holyhead and yet again, the high speed rail tunnel under the Irish Sea from Holyhead to Dublin has also been cancelled due to funding issues - no one wants to take responsibility for the poor state of the railways, seeing how this is possible in the Far East, even in this era of climate change and the potential restrictions on air travel between Ireland and the U.K. as proposed by the Irish government on foot of EU climate change rules - the culture needs to change and there is simply no excuse for the poor state of the railways - if governments cannot do it themselves they must be made to hand these rail projects over to people who can deliver, as decades of proposals have come to nothing, which is both tedious and tiresome
