its not horrible it old 😂 well u would ask why because they rethought the strategy to from becoming poor to rich soo to redevelop the infras and thats what i can also see here in india like super old infrastructure are being converted into futuristic infras but u gyes are already done with all that. protest with ur gov to rebuilt new cities like new york and redevelop infras to 100ds of yrs in future ur country might survive otherwise u all r done😂

India is very sad. India needs food more than anything. Despite having demographic dividend, the so called young and vibrant population, average iq of indians is very low due to starvation and malnutrition. India ranked 101 in Global Hunger Index with 35% of its population are malnourished. Like Jayant Bhandari said: "indians are poor, wreched, uneducated, crooked, extremely irrational and superstitious." Unhealthy and malnourished india's population will be a permanent underclass throughout their lives.

I think the West has mistaken bureaucracy as freedom. Every project needs a vote, public consultation etc etc before even doing anything meaningful. Even when the infrastructure is broken, they still want to go through all that. I thought voting is suppose to get someone into power to do something meaningful, but instead it's voting someone popular and they put the responsibility back onto the public through "Consultation" "Taskforce" blah blah blah and off load the accountability at the same time. I live in Auckland NZ, it's turned into a shithole in 5 years under Labour. All they do is task force this, consult that, blah blah blah, nothing gets done.

I hope Jason can go to our remote village in China, which is still backward and poor with poor infrastructure, but we Chinese people are not afraid of it. We are hard-working and love learning without complaining. Our government has also arranged many officials to help farmers, who temporarily give up their comfortable life and leave their families to live in the countryside. They enthusiastically and sincerely help farmers to work together to develop and become rich. Many of them arrive with black hair and leave with white hair. You can't feel their greatness in the good areas like Pingli, but you can see their hardships and greatness in the poor villages. I hope to tell foreign friends a real China through your video: Chinese people love peace, welcome sincere friends from all over the world to visit China. We Chinese unite and help each other, our government insists on "serving the people" (so we Chinese all love our government sincerely, just like a family). I also hope that governments of all countries can sincerely help their people, and hope that people all over the world can have a happy and beautiful life. My English is not good, so I can only use translation software. I hope you can understand. Finally, I wish our foreign friends a word that we Chinese all believe: Long live the people!

It is strange but true. China is just another democratic country. The key difference is China put the "community" or "the people" before the individual. This makes the west accusing China has no human rights (for the individual) and hence not democratic. However for over 5,000 years the Chinese ancestors have taught their descendants it is better to have a happy community first. This is because China is the most populous country so allowing each one pull its own direction China will have no future and pulled to pieces. However if everyone is united in one direction which is to put the community interest first then China could become what it is today..

@@fxxxxck You are totally wrong. I said community or people. It is never to do with the state or the country. If the state or country is getting stronger it is incidental and not a goal! Also China has never interfered with the internal affairs of others countries. This will guarantee China will never use military to suppress others or use the military to achieve what it wants. China achieves everything by working harder than others. All China ever does is make everything more affordable and trade with other countries. If a country doesn't want to trade then China will move on and this country never hear China again.

@@fxxxxck I believe US is the country that has sent most weather balloons to the atmosphere. It is US's choice to describe the weather balloon as a spy device. It is also US who shot it down, examined it and came up with no evidence to support its accusation. Everyone in the world US has CIA operating all over the world to destabilise other countries and carry out regime changes so spying is just a very small part US would to to other sovereign nations. It is the public knowledge that even the then Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel's phone was hacked by CIA. US hacking other countries will never announced in the US but anything wrong the US would accused China or Russia hacking its own system. US has national debt of over $34 trillion that needs 2 to 3 generations to pay, the country has more guns than population, a political system one party is always diametrically opposing each other to the detriment of the nation, a crumbling infrastructure, biggest inequality with the top 1% owning same wealth as the bottom 90%, a public health system milking the citizens instead of serving them and 1/4 to 1/3 national budget spent on military when there has never been any attack on the US soil so its politicians use the military power to behave hegemonically to the rest of the world resulting the US spent 225 out of its 246 years existing engaging in wars. Yes I think US can no longer govern itself and is rotting within so its politicians want a war to divert everybody's attention from the American failure. If the war ever come it will be the end of the US too because this time deaths and destruction will happen on US soil. This time most of the US naval force will end up at the bottom of the sea.

Get all pics and evidence of closet skeletons of all potential future president or PM of these countries. These evil people have one of these weakness usually : sex , drugs and corruption. Try to get hold of these evidence early and these bullies will be an obedient puppy. China has to play smart. Play dirty with cheaters. All announcements are both English and Mandarin (+ local dialect if applicable) even if these places are hardly frequented by Western speakers. The only places in Australia I’ve send multilingual signage is in Chinatowns (*wow so smart /sarcasm). To say that China is not accommodating to the West shows how ignorant they are.

This is why the US hasn't come up with a proper counter to China's Belt and Road projects until recently, and why the Build Back Better agenda is a guaranteed flop. They don't even have any respectable long-distance passenger rail for a long time, and streetcars (trams) in US cities had been phased out long ago in favor of cars. There is a stigma in the US that public transit is for the poor and marginalized. And now China is slowly but steadily catching up to Japan, South Korea and Europe in terms of public transport infrastructure. Truly open-minded people will have to acknowledge China's advancements in engineering and technology, and Westerners who continue belittling China as backwards and inferior will suffer a massive reality check in the future

London is also old even the system has been systematically modernised and is still a popular place if you want to see rivets. France systems have been progressively modernised. Germany, Holland, Italy systems are reasonably modern too. Canada also have modern systems but probably not as sparkling clean and well coordinated/decorated as China. China has 44 cities with metro, the longest combined metro length of 8,684 km, the largest number of 250 lines with the biggest number of 5,386 stations (2020 figures). The second runner-up US has a combined metro length of 1,344 km, 86 lines and 1,228 stations. China has been building metro for many countries too.

OMG! I'm living in Toronto Canada here, our subway and GO train network combined don't even come anywhere close to what you are showing in this video! I am not even comparing how fresh and pretty the stations & trains look (fair to say many North America's subway lines were built more than 50 years ago, all things get old), but simply the coverage of the transit network! Over here in Toronto and I'm sure pretty much throughout North America in general, it would take many years, with lots of talking, planning, much delay, and overbudgeting to add just a few stations to an existing subway line! And the cost of that China subway ride you were showing, holy, it only costed you $0.50 USD!? Must visit China somedays, even just to try the subway ride! Btw, little Lincoln is soo adorable!

Still appreciate how rapidly the high level of transit network got built up in China in such a short time.

Is that in the U.K? One difference is the speed in which China develops. In Canada, other nations too I'm sure; we have red tape and self serving contractors who drag out construction in some cases literally for years. It's insulting to taxpayers and those who expect honest, fair management of city operations. One of the more egregious examples I witnessed myself (since I drove by it daily) was a government business in which they were simply renovating the exterior walls. Five years later and it was still unfinished. The street on the ground had a lane taken over with equipment, the residing businesses all impacted negatively due to the constant construction. Politicians don't care and citizens pay the price for this lack of accountability.
