I agree that Wilkinson makes good, affordable preamps. There are also other brands, too. There's a guy in Canada who makes Alembic clone preamps for pennies on the dollar.

It's a FELONY 2 sell things with fake names like that, but China gets away with it because they R in a place where American laws don't apply. In most of Europe it's illegal 2 even buy fake $hit, let alone $ell it =)) It also tells U the manufacturer is a $cammer & fuk'd up the rest of the instrument, so stay away. It's like if U go 2 a restaurant & order a cheeseburger & they bring out a salad & call it 'cheeseburger' salad, & U ask 'where's the meat' & they say 'it's vegetarian beef' & ask 'what is it made from' & they say 'deep fried rice' & U say 'rice & fry oil are not vegetables! =)) It's all a big joke 2 rip U off... Maybe the next Chinese restaurant down the street, they saw off your arm & serve it 2 U = call it steak? LOL

@@Deathrape2001 been in the game 40 years plus, just care about the woodwork not trying to dupe anybody. I install electronics, tuners and bridges from quality manufacturers but need a certain pickup rout that I've called every custom manufacturer in the states to no avail. I just need a neck and body.
