One thing I forgot to mention. I requested to have the end of the fretboard straight rather than round so it wouldn't be confused with a genuine strat. Also, this seller no longer has a store on Aliexpress so I cannot recommend any sellers. I will be looking for a new seller in the future.

Crazy that you can change the Tuners, Nut, Pickups, Pots, output Jack, and Bridge for about $300 or so and have just as good of a guitar as a multi thousand dollar Stratocaster.

loved the piece you preformed with it, was not planning on getting a guitar from aliexpress anyway due to how little i would be able to change it, also i remember playing a guitar in londale that had the same look/sound but it was a scalloped fretboard guitar and i remember really enjoying the feel of it

Glad you had success with your order; I have received a couple that have been good; my last with a tele bass was very disappointing; the neck pocket cut too deep and couldnt lower the saddles any further to bring the action down. The cheapest hardware on it. Buy only from sellers offering a free return or you loose both their delivery cost and your return cost and are left with a cheap bass, even the logo was a fake fake lol The good ones did take alot of setup to make playable as most are direct from the factory

The prob with Fender single coils, is that it sounds too fuzzy playing chords...I like HH with coil tap. I never liked Yngwie's rhythm sound, no definition or tight tones...

I usually don't either, but these pickups are pretty good. Of course humbuckers will always be my preference.

Do you know if these pickups are sold on AliExpress in a loaded pickguard?

Hey I love the colour. It's like my yellow Donna that is a Donner. The pickups do sound fantastic on it. And while you were at it why didn't you ask them to leave the fender logo off the headstock while they were making you a special neck? 🤔 and what does it do on all single coils?

Also, when ordering this I went back and forth about the logo. I finally decided on the Fender logo mainly due to one thing. This video. A video review WITH the Fender logo on the headstock will get far more views than a generic strat copy with no logo. That's pretty much it.

Guitar straight into my Line 6 interface. Everything is Line 6 POD Farm on my computer. No other amps or effects.

Wow!, beautiful guitar!, sounds and looks good, I even thought it's a YJM Fender at first, but unscalloped.👍 I just want to share a story, I stumbled upon your channel and asked you how to purchase on Allie Express and how's the quality, then based on your good review/s. At first I wanted to buy a Chibson Les Paul Honeyburst 1969 copy which looks so good on the website. But became out of stock immediately!.😌so I instead bought an Ibanez Jem 30th anniversary for just $280 (the original costs is $4,500 at Reverb). It arrived in 3 weeks and I never expected that a Chibanez RG would look this good!👌Went to a pro luthier, fret leveled it and set-it up , and Bam!, it plays like butter and it sounds sooo good! (I did not change anything, the pick up is also a Chinese DiMarzio and tuners had "Ibanez" in it. Went to see the Original and it's 99% the same visually. Man!, I'm soo impressed and happy with my Alie Express experience, it fueled my GAS!. I ordered another guitar thats on the way. So thanks for your advice and channel. Goodbye Reverb, Hello Allie Express!😄 Long live the Chibson's, Chibanezes and Chenders! They rock without busting a bank.🤭 Cheers!🤘

I just got my kiesel rainbow sparkle delos way better than a strat imo but those mic strats can sound good with proper upgraded however you went with basswood 🤕

Thinking of buying a pair of guitar fetish pick ups for my Harley Benton SG it had ceramic pick up so I change the magnets the to alnico 2 was not great and in the lespaul just like it was great but not in this sg it don’t sound so good.

@@jdhed1601 it just depends on what you're requesting. I just tell the seller everything I want, and then he gives me a price.

I have bought a couple guitars over the years from China. I got a Paul Gilbert Chibanez back in like 05' and it took a lot of work to make it playable. Pretty much had to strip it down and put all new everything on it. I did "customize" an order for a LP Custom, but I requested ebony fretboard w/ the deluxe inlays, and a tobacco quilted maple burst. It's the only one i still have. I gave the Chibanez to a friend, who knew exactly what it was and this was back in like 07'. But, the LP I have has gone through a few upgrades first I put a set of seymours in it and a tusq nut. Now it has a set of EMG 57/66's in brushed Gold which looks amazing w/ that quilted top, Gold hardware including a roller bridge and locking tuners. And honestly I only have 18 guitars now but it's still one of my most played. It jus feels and sounds incredible. And I have been a superstrat guy since the 80's. I HATED the Lp style guitars, this was my first one but because of that I now have 5 and I'm sure I'll be getting some more. And I'll never get rid of that one because it does say Gibson on it. I ordered it like 8 years ago before I knew you could request like a custom logo or whatever. And I'll never get rid of it cause like I said it's one of my most played guitars still. I love the look of your Chender, I've always liked that color w/ maple fretboard, I just hated the scalloped frets and that big headstock as well. very cool guitar. Oh and I liked that you said you don't think about how others will feel when you buy a guitar, you think about what you like and feel. Glad we agree with that so many just want to criticize us for purchasing something that they wouldn't.. I used to have a review on my Chibson and so many comments from people who made me feel like I just murdered Mother Theresa or something.. people get crazy about these Chinese guitars..

There are a few things in life you can count on. One of them is "haters gonna hate." Most of their anger and comments are politically fueled. You just have to learn to ignore them. Delete and block. They aren't worth your time and energy. And my channel isn't the place for them to post their hate. So when they do comment, and they will, they won't get a reply. And they'll be promptly deleted and blocked. And very cool on the Les Paul. I have one too and it's a great guitar and I haven't even changed anything on it.

@@thebaldshredder Yeah I agree 100%, sometimes I see things that irritate me a bit and I comment but it's not out of hate it's just out of opinion and I try to stay respectful. But, yeah the LP is a great guitar, i tried ordering another Chibanez Petrucci only cause I had an extra black gotoh trem and pups laying around and thought that would be a cool guitar to upgrade, I paid for it, that was 3 years ago, still haven't received it.. so I haven't gone back, but I have started to look over on Alie just to see if something grabs my attention. I'd still like to get a Petrucci copy and upgrade it. maybe I'll try again. but that Fender looks amazing. I'd like to get one w/ a Floyd, might have to get ahold of a seller and make that happen too.

I ordered (2) of these guitars - except they were Edward Van Halen Strats. The red, white and black striped ones. And man did I get lucky! They were branded as Zuwei..... and were identical to all the ones they are selling on AliXpress. But here's the kicker.... I just happened to see where they were running them on Amazon. Several variations. I wanted the 1982/1983 ish era Van Halen Strat. Strat body. Strat neck. I got one. Neck and body were AWESOME!!! Literally the rest of the guitar was absolute crap. Worthless junk. But guess what? I didn't care, and I was thrilled. Awesome body and neck. $299 bucks. I ordered about $100 bucks worth of parts - A Floyd Special. A Wilkinson Humbucker, and a few other inexpensive parts. And BOOM!!!! I've got a killer EVH Strat. It is better than my actual black and white EVH striped series. Honestly. It's better! So I ordered a 2nd one for fear that you'd never see them again on Amazon. Got the 2nd one just as quick - which was about 5 days shipping (they didn't offer Prime). The 2nd one was even better!!! I decided not to throw a Flyd replacement on that one. Did a Schaler (Fender style) Floyd replacement bridge system on that. Another Wilkinson Humbucker. It is even better than the first one I did. I want a Lynch Guitar. And another Van Halen Strat body, but with bent hocky stick head-stock. But man.... don't know if I can stand to wait 2 or 3 months from AliXpress. By the way... never seen them run again on Amazon. Sucks... b'c they had like 6 or 7 different EVH guitars on there. Even the Bumblebee. I should have grabbed on of those. Just can't buy them all at once! And so I missed it.

Yes you can definitely get killer stuff on Aliexpress, or Amazon in your case. It's not all garbage as some would like you to believe. If you're willing to swap out stuff and work on them, they are amazing deals. Have you looked on eBay? Some of those sellers also sell on there.

@@thebaldshredder Man - that's a great idea!! No - I have not checked out E-Bay. Will do that. And ultimately.... might order a couple axes from Ali. Just hard to wait on them... and if there's an issue... it's tough. Not like Amazon or E-Bay. But yeah - man if you get a decent neck and body... or even just body... you can be in business. Great neck replacements on Amazon if you were in a real pinch. Even Fender actual necks. And all other parts... piece of cake. So yeah, with these specialty type guitars.... a cool alternative. I wish I had more patience! 2BikeMike has gotten a couple Les Pauls from Ali that are UNBELIEVABLE!!!

How Could anybody not like this guitar.?

I get replicas but deliberately getting them with the fender logo is rather shitty. It just causes nightmares on the secondhand market. Why not get them without the logo or with your logo instead?

Totally valid points. But as I said in the video, this guitar will never leave me with the logo intact, so there will be zero impact on the secondhand market. Plus there are lots of obvious things, like the straight end of the fretboard, that show it's not a real Fender. Regardless, I will remove the logo at some point. And finally, the real honest answer is this: I ordered this guitar knowing I would make a video about it. The guitar WITH the logo will get a ton more views than a video on a boring no name strat copy with no logo. It's really as simple as that. I don't encourage people to ever try to pass off these replicas as the real deal. And I never give links to the sellers.

Now you're inferring that anybody you sell/give it to may not be as ethical as you and might try to pass it on as a genuine Fender. Plastic truss rod cover gives it away. They only come stock on the Mexican made Fender models.
