China Floods 2021 | Affected More Than 54.8 Million People| Wuhan Flood | China Flood Footage
I am uploading this video just to bring up the current condition of the China as many people are affected by recent flood in the country.
On May 10th, starting at 2pm, Wuhan suddenly turned as dark as night, followed by torrential rain, accompanied by hail and level 10 winds. As seen from photos and videos posted by locals, there was standing water in many parts of Wuhan, trees were blown down and the roof of the Wuhan Station waiting hall had severe leaks. Local netizens have expressed their fear caused by the sudden rainstorm.
In the face of strong convective weather in many parts of Hubei province, Hubei’s meteorological department issued more than 100 hail, heavy rain, wind, and lightning warnings on May 10th. Wuhan Central Meteorological Station issued an emergency yellow warning signal for high winds, which is expected in the next 3 hours. Wuhan City, Hannan, Caidian, Jiangxia, Dongxihu districts will experience level 8-10 thunderstorms, winds accompanied by light hail, with rainfall of 30 to 50 mm.
According to the description of Wuhan Meteorological Station, the rainfall was comparable to having a big bag of water fall from the sky. From 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the 10th, the national meteorological station near Wuhan’s Dongxihu district showed that the 1-hour rainfall reached 29.2 mm. However, 24 regional stations in the central city area showed an hourly precipitation of more than 50 mm. Wuhan University of Science and Technology City College, situated near the East Lake, received up to 99.6 mm of rain in one hour. Heavy rainfall is classified by rainfall of greater than 50mm within 24 hours. Therefore, Wuhan received a day’s worth heavy rainfall within 1 hou

? China has had really bad seasonal flooding on its rivers for like all of history ? Thousands of people used to die a year in the old days, how did China's government do this ? 🤣🤣🤣
Simple solution to stop flooding in Chinese delta regions, simply plant more trees. A full grown tree consumes over 1000L of water a day, just think of that! Oh and less damn dams might help!

If you look at the History and casualties, It seems like they tamed your "lord" with technology. From million people dying from the flood to few hundreds, It's a change which we can't deny. They got flood every year, still surviving and growing strong.

Floods was not totally due to heavy rainfalls but from the released of waters from the man made dams of China.

Sure looks like all the dams keeping the water levels up are causing more problems. These area's are river Delta's been flooding for thousand of years. So let's build here then we can cry when it floods. Always amazing people who build on a river then cry when it floods. Same for the beach house owners who cry when the storms wipe them off the beach.
