Halfway through this video I started poking away at my Digitone. Next thing I knew it was 2 hours later and I was lost in a reverb-drenched land of plinky FM ambient. Thanks for another fabulous video!

Thank you Jeremy. I've had my Digitone for a few weeks and been already fooling around with doing semi generative stuff but this was still a very inspiring video and I learned a few tricks. The main reason I got this machine was mainly for doing stuff like this - it sends me into another world where chaos seems to make sense and everything falls into its right place. I would love to see you do more videos on the Digitone :-) Hope you have a good day too, cheers.

Thanks for being awesome and sharing. Your videos have really inspired me to make music again. I gave up on music in the 90s, even though I was signed to various major labels, the industry was very cut throat back then and I walked away. Years later, your videos have reminded me about the joy of making music again. I’m thinking of buying the op-1 but I keep holding out to see if I can find something just as good or better. Something just as capable, dawless. Would love to see you make tracks with the elektron. Anyway, thanks for saving a dying part of myself.

I find very interesting how you and Oscillator Sink came to 2 different results applying the same idea with different principles. He programs the notes and patterns on the sequencer to create big drones and soundscapes, you use the arp to do more rythmic blip blopish stuff. Both produce beautiful contemplative music. Can't wait to try mixing the two techniques!

Cool techniques, dude. Followed a very similar approach after watching Osc Sink's video on the generative patches with the NDLR. Definitely got some real mileage out of that. The Mod slots are particularly useful for modulating the Arp clock division and note position within the scale. Lots of delay and reverb for the icing and cherry on top of the ambient cake. Still working on getting a decent poly synth to help round out the pad parts.

This series on the Digitone is amazing, Jeremy, but this clip in particular is great just because the ambient sound is so curiously pleasing & interesting. Reading between the lines (or perhaps the not so subtle hints in your recent videos), it sounds like things are rough for you at the moment. I don't know what you're going thru & I know it's so difficult to have even a little bit of a public presence & to present any kind of performative face when you feel terrible. I just want to thank you so much for still sharing your creativity & music with us, in whatever form you choose to, with whatever regularity. I subbed to your channel a few months ago & you've been a massive inspiration for me to get back into music & expression. No matter what happens, I hope your life works out. Do you have a video where you give tips on creating/tweaking drum sounds on the Digitone? The envelope and filters ar incredibly sensitive on the Digitone which is a sound designer's dream but for amateur like me puts me down many rabbit holes. My jam session last night turned to an hour tweaking one snare but that hour taught me a lot.
