Hearing this music means so much more now knowing it’s the last of his material we’ll ever get to hear. I thought nothing of it when this video came out, but he doesn’t look well at all. It’s bittersweet to think that he continued doing what he loved for himself and for us, despite his suffering. Admirable courage.

You probably know this by now but there are a couple other songs out there - the Bodom After Midnight tracks. I love listening to them & have many, many times. But watching the videos of them, seeing my most fave musician (for over 20 years!) being in such pain is unbearable. He’s a legend. 🤘🏻🖤

I would love if they rise its volume, it often seems that he isnt even playing but it does, just low sound. The same problem a lot of bands have with the bass line, not the case of CoB

I had the great time of my life, seen one of my favorite bands, with my friends, playing live on my country for the first time ever (sadly the last time ever) 10 years ago. These memories I will never forget. You will be sorely missed Alexi.

I've always loved Children of Bodom since 9th grade I just wish that I could've seen the play live and thanked alexi myself for everything he's created

All of his music and songs are super beautiful ,amazing and such a talented man in the world have just left us ...I even named my 3years old son Alex 💔💔❤️❤️

The last song from alexi is unfortunately one of his best. Rest in peace my guy.

This is one of the best melodic death metal songs I've ever heard. The whole Hex album is just great, perhaps the greatest COB album so far. Finest melodeath.

Hmm I woundnt say this is still in the melodic death metal style at all. This sounds more striaght up metal. I'm not saying it's not good, just no where near heavy/complex enough to be death.

Finally an old school full melodic song, I miss those days. Hope the rest of the album is like this

Personally I don’t think children of bodom have ever put out a bad album. I love every album they have put out. That being said though, I think “HEXED” is gonna be one of their best albums in a while. COBHC4Life!!!!

It's not that their later albums are bad by any standard, it's just they've set their bar so absurdly high with Hatebreeder/Follow the Reaper/Hate Crew Death Roll it's kinda disappointing they've never been able to hit the same mark again ever since.
