Not a single song of this band to disappoint. Children Of Bodom was a group of people that worked together, but Alexi was the one who created it, leaded it and worked his ass out, slept at the rehearsal and sacrificed his health and life for it. I went to his grave and it was covered with gifts of his fans. People loved him. Alexi was down on earth, he never raised his head, never considered himself better. The person I respected the most in my life. And nothing will change that. Rest in peace WildChild, sleep well, your legacy will live with your Hate Crew.

I love the fierce screaming of the guitar in the build-up to the solo, sounds like a crow's warcry.

Alexi Laiho rest in peace my friend. You were an amazing guitarist and songwriter and inspired countless people to learn and play guitar. I'm not sure how you died but I'm guessing way too much alcohol. I hope that you are in a great place and still writing songs.

Magix Most people come here curious about both the video and the music. Nowadays artists use "lyrics videos" for the music. I don't need to prove anything just read the comments, apparently most of the people did "stare at the video". You and xx xxx missed entirely the point of an artist actually making a video representation for their music. One of the best song ever!!!!

Probably my single favorite video of all time. And especially awesome to me as a Mage the Ascension player; it perfectly encapsulates the idea of a battle being waged across multiple realities at once, with our character battling depression in his dreary apartment, *and* trekking across the desert in search of his raven spirit guide, AND battling the Grim Reaper hand-to-hand in a storm-wracked gray spirit realm, all at the same time. Plus god DAMN I wish I could look half as good as that dude.

Thanks for all your legacy left for us, crazy and freak lovers of metal... of quality metal... This is a thing that just a big, enormous, tremendous icon like you could bring us.. the riff, the empowerment, the force of your energy will never ever be forgotten!! R.I.P LEGEND, ICON!! To explain the Video. The main actor has had some kind of traumatic experience. He fights his suicidal form/death with his normal form on a psychic stage. I do not know why, but he has a connection to the Helvetic Goddess of war, Morrighan, who comes to his aid, as he fights is own darkness and pain away.

Am I watching the same video as some of you? I thought it was awesome. Great special effects, and the action sequences weren't bad either. Music videos are not movies, and don't have to make 100% sense from beginning to end.Great song as well.

A lot of people care about the vid as it shows what cannot be said nor sang andit goes both ways. The lyrics says what cannot be shiwn and the video like i said, shows what cannot be said adding a more profound experience and gravity to the while story.

Awesome vid. With an awesome message which is a bit too tricky to figure out. (Not sure i did but still i'll pretend) Morrigan is Irish war goddes as far as google knows. That guy probably is an ex military, having nighmares (probably remembering what he saw/done at war) where he fights death in most violent brawl. (which is awesomly filmed - cause i am tired of that metaphoric skeletal death just taking one's life away. What we see is a death you can/have to fight - which is quite a new way to picture death. And i absolutely love it.) As far as i get he's suffering PTSD. To feel that thing you'd better see movies like american sniper or hurt locker (both i consider to be crappy american patriotic propaganda but still they let you feel the thing). Long sotry short - he's not comfortable living a civilian life. All emotions he has are about war and into war. Then Morrigan comes (not the dragon age chick but the Irish goddes, relax kids). She's also a crow. She leads him somwhere far away - sands, forest.. Use you imagination. Dunno, afghan, iraq - does not matter. Probably the same place he was fighting death in a dream. There he meets death again. He fights - and wins - cause Morrigan's on his side and in his heart. You can also see it as he's in love with Morrigan (aka war). To me this is the best and deepest vid COB ever made. They manage to tell the story and drama without actually showing it. Awesome song. Awesome vid. Thx guys!

+Pedro Netto I think this is quite a nice way to metaphorically show war. Modern war means you often don't even see an enemy before you die. Just some random artillery strike, thrown mine or a semi auto burst from somwhere afar. A bullet of sniper you never see. Fighting death means throwing all you have into staying alive. It's a fight with youselft i think. And it's quite a dramatic metaphor cause fight with death is not the one you can win. Best you have is just some time before another round. Stabbing death in the end is probably about showing the help of morrigan - goddess of war. That stick represents her help here. And it probably means that without her help he'd die there. Which in turn i think means him succumbing to the bloodthirst, losing some portion of humanity and becoming the real dog of war.
