Chicken Casserole Recipe | Keith Floyd | BBC Studios
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Chef Keith Floyd is on board in France to cook a chicken casserole in a cramped gally kitchen. Hilarious short video with an easy to follow recipe and a small measure of strong French language. This clip was taken from BBC cookery show 'Floyd on Food'. Watch more high quality videos on the new BBC Worldwide KZread channel here: / bbcworldwide

Ain’t it magic how we can cook on a boat, a lot of you can’t even cook at home ! Love the bloke !
Far, far more interesting and entertaining to watch than the vast majority of current TV chefs. He was authentic and unscripted, this is how TV should be done.

I was thinking the same thing. So much better than the contrived drivel on today.

And today, when they're unscripted they make really bad food.
I cannot express how much I love this man, RIP. He was an early inspiration for me, my late wife loved him because he drank while cooking. Best TV chef ever !!!
'TA GUEULE!' 😂😂😂
Cool as and no doubt. Fantastic chef
Best chef ever. Period
His appeal is straightforward - the ordinary bloke wished he could be *just like Keith* - constantly take the piss, brow beat all comers and eat and drink as he pleased - the common man's dream !!
He was actually a great talent for television not just cooking. He could talk ad lib, had humour (yes admittedly sometimes a bit sharp, but also great wit), warmth, identifiable with by almost all, great knowledge of the importance of food and cooking in history and culture - something which has been totally lost on the BBC now which prioritises didactic instruction from charmless but highly technical chefs and voyeuristic cooking competitions ("jeopardy TV").
A real legend, as TV cookery moved on in the 90s - they left Floyd behind. A real shame, would have loved to see him on Ready Steady Cook and even Saturday Kitchen - RIP Keith. A real legend.
Such a programme. What a guy. Bring this back. RIP Floydy we love you
He had the most charisma of all the TV Chefs.....none of them compare.....he was enjoyable to watch and it was mostly not about cooking......great stuff......I miss him.
Wonderful. Thank you for posting.

Agreed, dear old Keith Floyd was a TV natural, utterly fearless without a script, brimming with charisma and mischief, and quite simply a very lovable human being, adored by men and women alike. God bless him - there will never be another. None of the cheffy pretenders to his throne has come close to matching his magic. But as Floyd made clear many times, he was not a chef - he was an unpretentious home cook. And a STAR!
Oh, Keith Floyd! Superb Floyd!
Miss you Floyd. RIP
I'll have a little glassette
Floyd was a TV natural. Such powerful charm and charisma, and an irresistible talent to amuse. Quite simply the man was a star, the cooking/food was entirely incidental - you watched for HIM! No one has been able to replace him and his unique niche. Gordon Ramsey and Jamie Oliver are but pale imitations, and mere pretenders to Floydy's throne. As for Rick Stein, James Martin, Gary Rhodes, Nigel Slater and all the rest, they don't possess a fraction of Floyd's personality and pizzazz between them!
A corker of a dish, roughly made, often the best, even brought a baguette along to mop up, yes.! Thanks Floydy.
he is always drunk its awesome
I totally agree.
I love the calendar in the background!! Tastier than the cuisine!!

I asked MPW the other day if Keith set the standard for TV chef & after a few choice expletives about his fellow TV chefs ( Jamie, Gordon, Anthony et al ) he said without a doubt but also mentioned that it’s David Pritchard the long suffering director/ producer that discovered Keith then subsequently Rick who deserves a lot of credit

@nighterjay So true
The "Cloughie" Of Cooking....
Being forced to download advertising where my bandwidth costs me money is annoying me. I can't watch a video in Germany because of Googles problem with Gema, but i must pay to watch adverts. I don't want any ads, can I choose that in my account profile? I see some court cases coming up.
