Chicken and Pork Estofado Recipe
Not too old para sa old-fashioned recipe na 'to dahil sa comforting na lasa at perfect ulam this Christmas season! A perfect mix of sweet and savory flavors! Try this #simpol CHICKEN & PORK ESTOFADO recipe na!
Ingredients:
½ kg - Chicken pieces
½ kg - Pork belly
1 cup - Soy sauce
2 cups - Pineapple juice
½ cup - Vinegar
1 cup - Brown sugar
6 pcs - Laurel leaves
Oil for sauteing
6 cloves - Pound garlic
1 pc - Minced garlic
4 pcs - Star anise
1 tbsp - Whole black pepper
(add pork & chicken, & Marination)
½ cup - Water
8 pcs - Fried Saba Banana

It's added together with bay leaves and peppercorn. Some people don't like star anise because of its aroma, you can omit it
