Pork Asado Recipe using fresh tomatoes?! | Chef Tatung | SIMPOL
I’ve been craving some pork asado, so why not cook it up? This Pork Asado is inspired by Filipino pot-roast. This dish is flavor-packed because of the natural tomatoes, savory spices, and tender pork perfection. Give it a try #Simpol Pork Asado Recipe!
Ingredients:
Oil For Saute
- 2 kl Pork Ribs
- ⅓ cup Maggi Savor Calamansi
- 2 pcs Onion Minced
- 6 cloves Garlic Minced
- ¼ kl Chicken Liver
Season with Salt
- ¼ cup Annatto Oil
- ⅓ cup Soy Sauce
- ½ kl Ripe Tomato
- 6 pcs Laurel
- ¼ cup Sugar
Season with Black Pepper
- 1 Sachet Maggi Magic Sarap
- 2 pcs Red Chili
- 1 pc Red Bell Pepper Julienne

Nice Chef me I'm using pork lomo marinated to calamari at toyo for 4 hrs or overnight then fried golden brown pagluto na ang asado palamigin yun fork then slice para di madurog yun lomo at maganda ang presentation.

my lola and mama always use tomatoes instead of tomato sauce and indeed super classic and panalo yung lasa. Now my wife also use the same recipe for menudo, mechado using real tomatoes ❤❤❤

Nuong araw yung matatanda mina marinate nila yung baboy ng matagal tapos ipakukuluin nila sa pinag babaran ng karne. Ipiprito tapos igigisa, dun mo siya lalagyan na ng mga ingredients.
yes lagi kong linuluto ito noon pa pero may natutunan ako ngayun ang pag add ng liver thank you chef ❤

Asadong matwa sa kapampangan sasangkutsa sa sangkap ng malalaki ang hiwa ng karne palamigin, then prituhin palamigin then slice, then i gisa ang karne at ung pinag pakuluan. Ganyan ung pag lukuto ng asadong matanda ng kapampangan. Ung kay chef Tatung straight forward asado kc di na pinirito it between
Cooking the meat one hour after boiling point is just right for my pork meat.....2 hours for my beef on slow med heat.

Bulacan asado don't have chicken liver and atsuete and tomatoes. We uses tomato sauce or tomato paste and add laurel., in Pampanga they uses fresh tomatoes and oregano. It's good.

Pot roast. Asado de carajay. Ang term na asado is of spanish origin pero also gamit cya for chinese dishes, asado (roast or siopao fillings). Nidadto sa panahon na kahoy pa gamit sa pag luto mag lata ta og karne sa kaldero nga gi tak-ang sa sugnod. Laktod pag ka sulti. Gi asal ang kaldero (kaldera sa espanyol). Mao na background sa term. Mao sa english pot roast or sa karaang term asado. Diha pud gikan nag pulong nga caldereta. Grabe ka interesting sa culinary history og evolution sa culianary terms and language labi na nag sige og evolve through genetations.
