I have been making this for 2 yrs. I use coconut milk and stevie as the sweetner. Vanilla is my favorite but during the holidays, I change it up with mint chocolate flavored coconut milk with the cacao added for extra flavor. It's so easy!

Put the chia seeds in an electric coffee grinder and buzz for a few seconds. It turns to chia powder. This chia-seed powder is MUCH better in all chia recipes than plain seeds for the final creamy texture and the immediate speed that it congeals the ingredients into a wonderful pudding in a fraction of the time. Also, keep your seeds in the fridge or freezer! Full of healthy oils, they will go rancid if not refrigerated.

You can add chia seeds to so many things. I sprinkle them on salads, add it to soups, make this avocado blend as a quick snack, about 1 tablespoon is good to start with. Once you know how you like the consistency of them in your food you can either use less or more. They don't really have a strong taste so adding them to anything won't change the flavor.

My name is Elisa and thank you so much for what you do on this channel! :) I am 100% vegan and just got hooked on Mama Chia drinks having never tried anything with chia seeds before!! :) I LOVE the texture of the chia seeds soooo MUCH!! The texture reminds me of TAPIOCA!! :) I wanted to learn how to use chia seeds in recipes and JUST came across THIS video of yours for chia pudding!! :) When I initially did a google search it said to add 3 tablespoons chia seeds to 1 cup of WARM WATER overnight to gelatinize it, and THEN add it to what you want. According to your instructions, that step is NOT necessary. Am I correct? :) I am excited to get all of the ingredients for YOUR chia pudding and try them ALL :)

usually you put chia seed + water only if you want to replace eggs (in a vegan diet) for example if you are making desserts or something like this. you don't need it in this recipe because you already have dairy milk. so yeah that step in THIS recipe is not needed :)

Literally stopped the video to see if anyone else in the comments thought you looked like Blake Lively! You remind me so much of her!

+Eva Littman You can enjoy for breakfast, a snack or dessert! For breakfast I usually add some nuts, seeds and extra fresh fruit on top for more protein, texture and flavor :)

Want to try these. Worry the fat content is high, even though healthy fats. My pkg chia says 2 TBSP is 8 grams, so how much for 1/4 cup...
