I guess you don't want to disrupt things too much until you get to the boss or he would escape, that's why the other pieces mustn't be captured

also, they are killing some of your soldiers while they advance, so unless it's a justified act of war, they would be criminals as well

Lol, i seem to have overestimated stockfish's ability to fix bad positions. It's not really designed for that so it makes sense. Thanks for giving it a shot.

I love Martin’s challenges. Please do it more often

Martin didn't ever move that last rook, so technically that pawn was the last to move from it's initial square

Challenge: Martin Antichess Goal - Lose all your pieces to Martin. If Martin does the same, he wins instead. Capturing is compulsory and there is no castling. This rule doesn't apply to Martin, obviously. Stalemate counts as a win for the player who got stalemated.

basically capture only the last piece that moves out of the initial square

It’s either that or Martin just happened to move the predetermined criminal last (which is more likely for a rook, but Martin has been known to just randomly shuffle rooks one square to the side from their starting square and such things as that) Also, that rook was the only piece he didn’t move at all, which was epsecially lucky when Nelson threatened it at the end (tho I could see Marty shuffling from H8 to F8 or smth stupid like that lol)

Do that challenge again but require you to checkmate the king after taking the criminal without capturing any innocent pieces

A theoretical trap: since castling is considered a king's move, the rook involved could be a "criminal".

Play against Martin, but you are overly attached to your pieces. Once you move a piece, you may only move that piece until you checkmate, or that piece dies.

Chess Idea: Play Martin but you only get to move one piece at a time (so if you move a pawn to e4, that pawn is the only piece you are allowed to move until it gets captured) . If that piece gets captured, you choose a new piece to move. Your goal is to get into and endgame and win (like in a queen and king endgame) (I'm new to this channel, I don't know if you already did something like this or not. I love this channel I subbed.)

Challenges review: every time a piece captured you need to spin a wheel to get a new challenge from the past.

Simple, take a peice he hasn't moved, then play the game til all the other peices have moved. The peice you initially took would therefore be the last peice yet to move and the criminal

You've misunderstood the challenge rules. You were supposed to take down the last pawn what Martin didn't push and not the last piece what stayed on the initial square. Tho these rules was written in a little bit confusing and unclear way. Still a funny challenge to do.

Should add an assumption that the criminal cannot take any of your pieces except the king or the queen that helps you sort it out better

Each of your pieces can take only one of Martin's piece after that they remain stuck on the same square.

what about: chess against martin, but its a sort of weird draft. if martin moves a piece, say a pawn, you must pick one of your own pawns and you can never move that pawn again. so if he moves all 8 pawns, you cannot move any of your pawns. also, the event can only be triggered once by each piece. (the king doesnt count)

The challenge is you cannot move any piece only the knight you can move until martin move all pieces twice then you can move all your pieces

I have 2 statements. 1. Why can't the king be the criminal? 2. As I see it, any piece trying to protect the criminal would be guilty of conspiracy and becomes fair game.

Challenge:Play against Martin.And when you move your first piece(Not Pawn). That piece must deliver checkmate.

You should have continued to a checkmate.

Challenge: The 4 center squares are off limits. You can't move to or capture there. You can not even move through them, Rook on e1 can NOT go to e8 for example, even if the e file is open. .. Play a 400 or preferably higher bot. Let's see how important it is for your opponent to control the center..

Be interesting to see if you can do the challenge with Elani or Aron

I have a martin challenge! You have to checkmate martin, while every piece is on the its homesquare, and you have to promote 8 pawns into queens and return them to their homesquares as well. Martin cannot sacrifice or capture anything! Hint: Checkmate will be a discovered attack while moving a knight to its homesquare.

Atomic chess. ... Each player has an atomic peice. But just one. It blows itself and the 8 squares surrounding it.

The criminal isn't decided before the game.

1. Take a piece that hasn't yet moved 2. Martin can't move that piece since it is already captured, and will move all the other pieces 3. The piece you captured earlier is the criminal since it's the only piece that hasn't moved 4. Win
