@@cmcyatesThat is the most powerful and beautiful rendition of the classic song "You're My World" that I have ever seen and heard!!!, Congratulations to you for a job well done. It is better than most of the music that dominates the radio airwaves in the modern era.

Hi Cherill! I found your channel some time ago and your videos take me back in time. You may not remember me but I knew you back in the day when Marcel was your drummer (I was his girlfriend). My husband saw one of your videos and had the nicest things to say. He noticed your eyes right away.

Great video. GREAT MESSAGE. I like what you had to say. And love the backstory. With age, comes wisdom. It is fun to reflect. And I always thought you looked great, fashionable, and fabulous. That headpiece is very nice. How long did it take to tape one show? And was it difficult to learn a song you might not have been familiar with? Were cue cards ever used? Xx

Hi Kirk... Thankyou! I see everything much more objectively now... I had no perspective when I was younger... I wish Robbie had lived long enough to be able to reflect as I do now... life is strange...❤️

Wow! Beautiful job on a tough song to sing well, Cherrill. I got to know this song from Helen Reddy's version. Always loved her version too...not knowing it was a cover from the 60's. For years, I never could make out the lyric, "power so divine," on Helen's recording. I had to look up the lyrics. I also love the fact that I can hear that lyric perfectly in your version. By the way, I grew up listening to The Raes on CHUM am when I was a kid. Loved "Que Sera..., "A Little Lovin'..., "I Only Wanna Get Up And Dance".... is there any chance A&M (Universal?) might be willing to upload The Raes releases digitally for purchase to Apple Music or any other like platform? I'm sure there's a lot of us music lovers that would love to add the songs into our iPhone playlists ...they still sound great! Lastly, you're doing something right because you still look awesome. Sincerely, James

James what a great uplifting message... thank you so much...I’m not sure if there is anyone out there who would be willing/ interested to remaster those tunes digitally... I re-recorded little Lovin and Don’t turn Around recently but those old arrangements are so recognizable... the days of Chum radio and Que Sera Sera seem like another lifetime ago... I sincerely appreyyour comments and support...means so much to me❤️

@@cmcyates It's my pleasure. You have no idea how much I loved listening to your music, over the years. I actually ended up working in the music and film industry as well. Huge pop music junkie here. I'm going to direct message you. Cheers! xoxo

I once worked with Lola Falana on the Dinah Shore Show in Las Vegas and she used her eyes that way... I wanted to copy her for this song... it was very effective...

I noticed that too and marvelled. I would think it would take a lot of practice. I thought at one point, "Aren't her eyes feeling dry?" LOL
