In the situation of amicable settlement between the parties, as per it's pre condition, the complaint can be said to file affidavit under section 267 CR. P. C to withdraw his case by admitting that fact of receiving settlement amount as well as consent and having no any further allegation against the accused.

Party has given cheque, bank is merged with other bank, now the other bank says it can’t give cheque bounce reply, as the cheque is of the bank which merged with him, please give feedback
