I'm a fan of neither team, but I'm extremely happy for Kante (who still is), Thiago Silva and Azpilicueta, who were the best at their respective positions a few years ago. Also happy for a great guy like Werner, who would've probably felt miserable had they lost. For anyone who has followed him in Leipzig last season his misses this year are unexplainable, but hopefully he'll brush it off next year. Feeling kind of sad for Gundogan, and especially Kevin De Bryne though.

As an American fan of World Football, I am so overjoyed for Christian Pulisic who made history today. 1st American Footballer to play in a CL Final & 1st American Footballer to be part of a CL winning squad. I wish he could've scored that goal but he still played a big role in helping Chelsea to stave off City. Just so proud of Christian & genuinely happy for Chelsea, 2 CL trophies now in their cabinet. A certain washed-up North London-based club can no longer brag & insist that they're the most successful club to hail from London anymore. City bought their way to elite status, bought their way to PL titles & bought their way to FA Cup titles but they cannot buy their way to a CL trophy period.

@@jonpool9030 I know you're probably American so you don't understand how football works, but I'll try to explain. In football, scoring is the job of players called "forwards". Kante is not a forward but a defensive midfielder. His job is mainly to stop and get back the ball from the opposition. And he did it perfectly. I hope my explanations were not too difficult to understand for your American mind (you probably also believe Edouard Mendy is the worst player in the Chelsea team because he didn't score a single goal in all of this career...)

@@gontrandjojo9747really. I know how football works, I played the game professionally. And I'm not American by any stretch of the imagination. Kante's performance could only keep the score 0-0. If the goal wasn't scored and it had gone to penalties, Chelsea may have lost. So the game was won by the goal.

I remember craig burley saying chelsea wouldnt have a winning chance😂...it was fun watching him eat his own words

MSN best trio he’s nowhere near the best, I thought he was but after Lyon last year and the final this year you just have to accept he’s good but not great.

Chelsea’s defense was unreal today one of the best defenses I’ve seen in soo long. They were all determined and it paid off

What a great season. Chelsea(and porto) was the team everyone wanted to play in the knockout stages actually ended up winning. Leicester wins the FA cup for the first time in their history. PSG and Juventus doesn't win their leagues in almost a decade, Atletico wins laliga, Dortmond wins a major trophy etc. At the start I wouldn't have predicted any of these results.

I see Kante winning the Ballon d'Or this year if France reaches the semi finals of Euro 20

Reaching the semi finals being surrounded by players like Benzema, Mbappa, Hernandez, etc... is not enough to win the Ballon d'Or. France has to win the Euro otherwise Kante doesn't have a chance. Remember that Kante is not a forward and Ballon d'or is given by journalists so they rather chose forwards because they get the spotlights from medias.

The best defensive performance i think ive ever seen, at one point i was looking at the pitch when city was on the attack in 2nd half, Chelseas formation looked so clean and crisp I thought it was a screen shot!
