I don’t know if you read Bluelock but if you have a player who can create goals out of nothing? You need that player. Madrid have that with Vini, and Jude. PSG currently has that with Mbappé, and City sorts have that with Haaland although teams now do a great job of stopping the ball getting to him instead of stopping him. Joselu has come a long way in his career. When he was at Stoke City, if anyone told you that he would be Real Madrid’s hero in a champions league game when they were losing by a goal, no one would believe you, here we are, he scored 2 goals off the bench against Bayern Munich when the team was down by a goal and they’re now in the final because of it. This was the same guy who was a premier league reject he was relegated in back to back seasons which is why eyebrows were raised when Real Madrid signed him last summer. You lost Karim Benzema without properly replacing him and didn’t have an elite striker for the season and everyone saw Joselu has a panic buy and a player not good enough for Real Madrid. He wasn’t signed to start 50+ games for them, he’s the only recognized striker, but they signed him to be a super sub a rotational player that would come on and get some minutes whenever the team needs goal. He knew his role didn’t complain and his first season at Real Madrid has exceeded expectations and I’m honestly not surprised that he’s doing so well for them. He has led the line for them brilliantly and has scored goals whenever he’s played and that was his role in the team. He was their unsung hero against Bayern Munich tonight and I think despite the arrivals of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick with a lot of attackers in the team, he’s done enough to earn another season at Real Madrid because off the bench, they can bring him on when they need goals or if they want to play crosses in the box and change something in their attack.

Mbappe is really good at crossings, this will be really effective in Man city as Haaland can easily turn it into a goal, Endrick is short and will be less effective in crossings.. Haaland is always a striking threat and often pressures the backline far back in the box that gives alot of space for his teammates, this would be really useful for Mbappe since he is really good at shooting outside the box.. I would also love to see two super fast skilled wingers in city Doku & Mbappe ! :)

If Madrid were to sign Mbappe: -be prepared for judes number to drop as hes likely playing deeper - Mbappe would likely need to play in the middle for most of the match
