🇲🇦 On my first full day in Chefchaouen, the blue pearl of Morocco, I wandered solo and without a plan, just like my previous afternoon. I wanted to check out the best photo spots and all the to do's there. I stumbled upon a photographer, (The Blue Pearl Chefchaouen) who helped me find the best spots for my pictures and videos. I also managed to do a fun dance with the Senegalese artist Fallou, not expecting our video to then go VIRAL!
💦 I went to Ras El Ma, a village by the source of water, then to Jasmine House for the best views. I shot more viral videos the next day with a Gnawa dancer, who I found randomly the previous afternoon (check how here: • I toured Chefchaouen R... )
😲 This is why Chouen surprised me, I expected large crowds of tourists which wasn't the case, I thought people would be reserved about dancing on video with me but it was the COMPLETE OPPOSITE! Everyone is so welcoming and kind, this is definitely a place to come back to. Of course there are tourist traps, but if you blend in with locals, you'll find the spots where they eat and relax very quickly. Oh and did I mention its STUNNING BLUE?
