salam my dear sister. i'm from Malaysia, just a quick fix on your facts on how Islam came about in this region. my ancestor came from arabia land back in13th century. Islam came to this region by the islam missionary(if u can used that term) that are from the prophet progeny/family, Islam came here are not with the Ottoman empire, it spread organically by individuals and group of people that specifically for the purposes of spreading Islam. U can check it out thwe history of 'Wali Songo ' in Indonesia, Wali songo is the 10 brothers from progeny of Rasulullah that came to this region and spreading and teaching Islam.

Agreed from Bangladesh. We also learnt in school that Islam came in South east Asia through various arab traders and saints like it originally came to south asia like india, bangladesh, pakistan. Even islam came in the Indian subcontinent during the lifetime of prophet Muhammad(pbuh). Salam (peace) from Bangladesh❤️
