Chef Sam - Fried Bee Hoon 炒米粉 | Fried with Little Oil
Chef Sam from Lucky House Cantonese Private Kitchen shows you how to cook a very simple fried bee hoon dish, everyone’s favorite go to dish. Sam added Fish Cake, Tau Kwa, Eggs, Beancurd Skin and Bean Sprouts. My wife said it’s even better than her favorite economic beehoon stall and had 4 bowls for lunch. It’s my first time cooking bee hoon for her. Looks like I should do it again for her soon! :)

Hi, i scrubbed it with steel wool until the rust is gone. Fry chicken or pork fat in it and leave the oil in the wok for a couple of weeks to tease out the remaining rust. Repeat this process several times until you see the black sheen returning to the wok.. Last step is to fry a lot of vegetables in the wok, and then throw away the vegetables. Repeat again. This is to get all the rust out. Then will be done. :)
