It's uncanny how much Kelsey Grammer looked like David Hyde Pierce in the early days of Cheers. According to the producers of Frasier, David Hyde-Pierce was cast as Niles largely for that reason.

Really interesting how he is not as much of a snob in cheers, he likes beer, talks sports and dresses doesn't have much of a fashion sense

    Frasier's spin-off was much funnier.

I had absolutely no idea Fraiser debuted on Cheers. I always thought Fraiser was a show made by itself.

The irony that Kelsey Grammer's Frasier was on the show longer than Shelly Long's Diane... that is just poetic to me.

Definitely deserves his own show, maybe with David Hyde Pierce and John Mahoney

Frasier was quite good on Cheers, but I never thought he could carry a series as the lead. Boy, was I wrong. I mean, brilliant writing and a supporting cast to die for, but he was absolutely the central figure. Amazing.

I love it in one of the final series of Frasier where his first wife nanny G tells him "do you have any idea what it is like playing the same character for 20 years?" and he awkwardly fumbles and glances towards the camera, sharing the joke with the audience!

I find it really weird this one side character was singled out to have a spin-off to himself ... but damn, it was incredibly amazing. Someone apparently had amazing creative vision.

I wish Frasier got a HD remaster, such a timeless show as well.

It's fascinating to see the evolution of the Frasier character. He went from awkward and pompous to zany and over the top.

Funny Story , I watched the entire seasons of Fraiser during the quarantine . Once I was done, I felt like I lost a best friend who I saw everyday during my Work@Home breaks. Never watched Cheers before, as per my research i skipped Season 1 and 2 and straight to Season 3 to see Fraiser again .. man ! the joy and anticipation when he first showed up! ah ! REUNITED with an OLD pal !

I’ve never seen an entire episode of Cheers, but wow, it’s really interesting to see how different Frasier was back in Boston. The people around him are so much different from the ones around him in his own show, & in turn that makes Frasier different. Frasier is a bit of a social chameleon, & that makes him pretty relatable to me.

I wonder if Kelsey had any idea where that Fraiser Crane casting call would lead?

I love Frasiers sassiness, especially towards Diane.

I'm a huge fan of the sitcom Fraiser, I also grew up watching Cheers. I come back to watch the clips of Fraiser on Cheers because I have a lot of trouble connecting the two character's timeline. They are so similar yet played so differently. I know this was done intentionally so the creators of Fraiser would have better material to work with, but I can't help but think Cheer's Fraiser and the sitcom Fraiser are like two different versions of the character from different fictional universes. The multiverse of Fraiser if you will.

I like how during the guest appearance episodes featuring Sam and Woody, you saw glimpses of Boston Fraiser. It was like being around them helped bring it out and being around Niles brought out his more snobby side a.k.a Seattle Fraiser

There are so many cry laughing moments in Frasier it's ridiculous. Amazing writing and great performances all the way around. They hit gold with this character
