if you didn't know, you can put brand new oil into most diesels and if you then drain it without running the engine it's pretty much black. certainly if you run for a day, it'll come out black as that is. it's all the particulates that are flushed around the engine. Nothinng to worry about. the feel of the oil is more important, it should not feel gritty and if you rub it between your fingers it should slide smoothly. 🙂look pretty good other than the normal wear and tear parts.

Not to be negative, It is fantastic that you got a free service on your car cudo's to the guys that gave it to you.. But the oils being used was the cheapest most horrible stuff on the market. unless you going to change it out soon then it will be Ok, but if you are going to keep it in the gearbox's and diffs for a long time, I would advise to get it changed to something much better especially if you want a long term hastle free Rafiki. Remember good quality oils with maintance will ensure you trouble free driving. Was awsome to see the small little upgrades they did for you..
