We collected at this freshwater spring which was amazing. Killifish, tetras, pikes, wolf fish, apistogrammas and more. I think everyone ended up finding some fish they wanted to bring back to the boat on this excursion into the village.

So excited to see the next round of Prue videos
It's not about spawning, it's about the back drop of the 800 gallon tank... Exactly Dean!
I know this is old but... PLECO SOUP...!! They were so big and beautiful..... 😢😢🥺
So awesome
That was so FUN to watch. Very exciting fish. So glad you rescued that Monkey too.

They sure seem to like to serve pleco. Maybe try to get some great recipes, so we can start to try to tackle the problem with the non native invasion we are have in the southeast US? I'd certainly try it.
Wow. That first fish was so cool. He was right when he said it was a vacuum cleaner.
Actually experiencing the land where all your aquarium things came from must be amazing.
I loved the inclusion of location, temp etc. Thanks for the great video
Love the videos, places I will never see. You're like our very own discovery channel
Wow those cats look really cool from above. I don't know a whole ton about freshwater but those fish that were 1st underwater with the black stripe those are striking. I'm going from 15 years of salt water kind of back to fresh water a lot of this stuff was not around 15 years ago believe it or not or didn't seem like it. L o l
Thank u cory for sharing these underwater footage of thier natural habitat so we can try to replicate and learn from nature ur job educating us is a blessing.just to see the love and passion of those able to journey to peru is very rewarding and u all are our window to see those habitats on vid.thank u so much.
These are my favorite videos you post! Please keep doing it. I love this style. You get to see more of the entire experience.
Wow! Love those black tailed bryson's! Cheers, Chris
Good !!!!
One little Tetra XD ;p
The collection trip is a bucket list trip for me, but not even for the destination or activity cause i can do that tomorrow, but for the fish room i would have to have ready to go to make the trip make sense.
Is about time that Cory learns to say Hola! to the locals instead of Hello!
I love this whole trip! Love the commentary. love the footage. Love the editing. So amazing!
Cory I just want to say thank you for saving that monkey, I know from your community tab 1 week or so ago that you saved it but still: thank you!

TiMeJ34nD1T I see it as stole the monkey from the kids. It was probably orphaned and would be dead if it wasn’t for the kids. You should maybe think back to your first pet and remember how much you loved it, if you did?🤷♂️ the kids in this vid are no different and steeling their pet would be just mean.

@@rossphillips7128 so just because some kids have a toy that they'll most likely end off killing you shouldn't save it because they like it? Yeah, makes sense to me. The monkey is now in a rescue program and will most likely make it to adulthood with people that know what they are doing. I don't care about whether the kids liked to monkey or not, it was not treated right.
Omg it’s randy from the aquarist podcast, fancy seeing you here 😆
Really cool, Cory. Thanks for sharing that I appreciate it. The fish were pretty cool.
Very cool 😀👍🏻
Awesome video! I'm going to buy your crap!😉

Never seen the whale catfish! I wonder why they aren't more common in the hobby, they look nice.
It's awesome to see you guys having such a fun adventure. Oh ya and cory's jungle beard.

Great video, too short. I really want to just sit and watch these vids in my living room and wind down for the evening.

Those white fish with the black tail are gorgeous!
This is awesome
Some pretty awesome videos! I love these! Hope you have plenty more!
Awesome trip cory! If I went I'd have to come home with one of everything!
Good times! I'd love to have pleco soup. I think we should serve that here rather than have them shoved into a small tank. Maybe if I see someone at the pet store buying one I'll say "Oh, do you plan on making soup? You'll need two."

In my eyes that's like eating your pet goldfish... Which sadly people do... I seen an ad on kijiji and their title was saddening. "Buy these koi or they'll be cooked up"...
More videos love it thanks
I agree. ☺ "goldfish..???"
Looks beautiful there. I love your trip vlogs. Please show the monkey Island!
That was awesome that you guys caught a rainbow wolf fish! The one I bought died soon after and I am waiting to get another one. Any one know what the more colorful one was? That was really neat.
Thanks for taking the time to do the vlogs....as much as I would love to go down there, my old crippled body would not cope very well.

Very cool. Loved the tetras with the black strip and I have no idea how you ate the pleco soup. Lastly goldfish rule! Don't let anyone else choose you're stocking for the 800.
What fish was that with the crazy teeth?
Wow, pleco soup.
Wow, first time I've ever seen Costae Tetra - Moenkhausia Costae other than those I have, seen at 01:00 and 04:25! Those are the fish that you tried to help me ID Candi. I have a species spotlight on them, on my channel, with footage of the fish as well. Never thought I'd see them in a collection video. I have a school of them, maybe 15-17 fish, about a year old. Cool!
it looked like tiny rainbow Goliath tiger fish
I love those black tailed brycons!
pleco soup though o.o what was that like?

Wonderful VLOGs. And you are a very knowledgable person when it comes to fish!. You would take some of these fish and even if you take some of these fish, you would take proper care of them and never release them in the wild. But not everyone is so caring. Hence we see invasive species take over ecosystems.
Butterfly catfish are cool, are they in the hobby? i never seen them
Crazy walking in the water like that. That's straight from the anaconda film..
Mudslinging Dean and Pleco soup. Now I have seen it all.
These videos are the best thing on U Tube in the fish world! So dam cool except that Pleco soup I would be losing weight there 🤣 one problem they are to short! At least 15 minutes come on Cory 🤣✌🌿
Are black tailed brycons commonly available in the aquarium trade?
Hey guys awesome content! Still woenderint what the species @7:20 ~ is???
Are you really based out of Washington!?!?? How did I not know that!! I’m in Bellingham! Making a trip to your store ASAP!!!!!

OMG...pleco soup. I just about died when I saw that. Did you try it?
Wow, it always amazes me how much different fish species there are! Awesome!♥️😯
At almost 9 minutes and I'm thinking are you guys afraid of being mugged? I guess you got a guy for that, watching your back.
Captivating, exciting....simply awesome :)
Thanks for taking us along on your trip Cory ❤️❤️❤️

@@calgy84 Yeah, upon looking into this they are black tailed brycons or cicle tail brycons. Beautiful fish for a180 gallon or larger aquarium. Mine are black line tail tetras and they are almost identical but are way smaller and have a lot of green/blue on their backs.
I hate eating fish. Hate the taste, consistency etc.. I love your videos and I want to do something like that some day, but then you show whats on the menu. The thought of being on a boat and nothing else to eat is enough to make me stop thinking about it.
Hi, you had a video with Rob from flip aquatic that you guys talked about shrimp genetic. But i cannot find it anymore. Did you removed it?

What was the name of that big Acestrorhynchus or freshwater Barracuda that was netted? Just a giant redtail or something different?
Where is your store at ??
@aquariumcoop hey random question but I just switched my goldfish from play sand to rocks and they won’t leave tho corner of the tank anyone have any ideas or solutions
What‘s the name of the fish you called butterfly catfish?
