Check Out The Newly Built Secondary School By Lagos State Government In Elemoro Ibeju Lekki
Elemoro community junior secondary school is a major boost for education sector in Lagos state. The school construction was started and completed by the present administration in Lagos state.
The school has the following facilities;
18 classroom blocks comprising of 12 standard classrooms, 6 special rooms for home economics, introductory technology room, art & music studio, science laboratory, library and ICT room. The school houses the teacher’s room, sickbay, principal and vice principal office’s and associated conveniences for teachers and students.
The building has three major functional areas namely; the administrative area, the special rooms and the standard classrooms all linked by well sized corridor spaces, three staircases and over thirty toilets separated for male and female at every floor of the building.
The facility also has standard canteen block for students all enclosed with solid block wall fence and a gate house. Staircases are on two ends of the building and a central one for the administrative wing of the building.
The school also has a beautiful football pitch, an athletics running track including a 200 sitting arena. The sports arena also has its separate toilets and changing rooms.

MAINTENANCE! 🙏 Happy New Year Gbolahan.
I like this, however maintenence of this structure is what will make it last longer and serve its purpose even more. Other existing schools can be renovated and upgraded to this standard. Great Job

Happy New Year Gbolahan! Beautiful school, beautiful environment for our children to learn. My question is; Is there an adequate "fire suppression system" in this school. You see, we spend millions of dollars building beautiful facilities, but do not provide for their maintenance and safety. It is painful to watch our beautiful buildings burn to the ground because there was no fire extinguishing system on the premises. Neither do cities provide for effective Fire Departments in their budgets. This should be an important element in our architecture and development, going forward. Anyways, thank you for uploading this video. It's beautiful and congratulations to the Lagos State Government for advancing Nigeria's infrastructure renaissance.

Happy new year bro, yes this has always been one of the problem with building infrastructures in this part of the world where there’s no fire suppression system in place. But I can categorically tell you this particular school has fire extinguishers placed on different parts and on different floors on the corridors. If you watch the video closely at around 7:14 you should be able to notice this. Once again thanks for your support 🙏.

I don’t know if you have contact with anyone in Lagos state government, if you do please inform them to budget for a quarterly maintenance for this school. Thus will allow the school to last long and create a desire for all stakeholders to take pride in keeping it clean and in order.

Am also hoping the state government will make provisions for the maintenance of this infrastructure so it can serve the community for a longer period.
This is cool and all but this needs to be done everywhere not just once

Yes they should be a replica of this in each of the local government/ LCDA of the state at least a school in every LGA/LCDA in Lagos.

Closed gutter will be difficult to unclog and clean given that Nigerians are not particularly cleanliness cautious.
