I’ve got this exact one from Amazon, it is an excellent little rice cooker, but I have to say it helps if you read the instructions, as the guy demonstrating this has clearly not put enough water in. Just saying 👍

Yeah I never get the correct amount of water in.
Be careful ! Never use a steel fork because you will destroy your non-stick pan ! Only wood or plastic.
I'm a bit confused by your statement that you don't know how much water to put it. Did the device not come with instructions?

It give you a water line but it wasn’t totally clear, I have also found that if you intent to leave the cooker on for a while you will need extra water.
Metal fork in non-stick bowl, painful to watch.

I know, not the best practice.
You say "one portion" but the box says "two perfect portions". Who do I believe?

@@ChrismasKitchen it's ok, i now know! 1-2-3: 1 of rice, 2 of water, makes 3 cooked! :-)
It literally tells you how much water to add in the instructions and the gauge on the inside of the pot. Why did you not read it ?

Now that I've watched it completely, I think it is a terrible video, more a 'how not to use the Judge Mini Rice Cooker' video, for so many reasons (safety, damage, lack of instructions etc.).

Thanks for the feedback.

Do you not need to use the inner lid with it when making the rice?
I've had this rice cooker for a month. Really good. That demonstration was a disgrace - totally slapdash. For white rice use the same quantity of rice (rinse this first) and water. For brown rice use twice as much water as rice. A very simple machine. Comes with a measuring cup and plastic scoop (why was he using a metal fork?) Clearly an idiot. The machine does its job really well. And for storage it uses up very little space too.
First

You are first to do “first” across the entire library of videos. Nice one!
