Cooking in the tiny portable 12 volt rice cooker powered by the Bluetti EB3A

Ойын-сауық

An experiment cooking a simple little meal in the tiny portable 12 volt rice cooker powered by the Bluetti EB3A. These cookers are perfect for car camping, van life, tiny house life etc so I need to see how easy it is and how much power it will take to make lunch.

Looks to have done a fine job of cooking. Steamed Fish may be an option, especially with Ramen.

You can put your sausage straight on top of the rice. Frozen sausages can be used, same for frozen peas. Just need to take into consideration you need slightly less water if you use frozen food as water is introduced from the melting process.

Soaking the rice for 30 mins before cooking makes the rice so much nicer. Also leave the rice on warm mode and don't open the lid for another hour after cooking for perfect rice with no crunchy grains on top 🎉

Mine is always done after about 40 minutes in this cooker. But it takes time to heat up unlike a pot on the stove. No soaking, no waiting. 1 cup rice, 2 cups water, salt.

It would be interesting to see actually how much power it would pull Without solar panels engaged.

About 90 to 95 watts. These can be rigged up directly to a solar panel too.

the m stands for mili as in mili amps ... pretty sure that wont power it up . she showed this using i think it was 17 amps at warming after it cooked and was it 80 amps while cooking so im gonna guess a milli amp is less than one amp? mind you im not technical at all but ur gonna need a portable power station to power it up at minimum of of the size he showed ..or just plug it onto your car while driving . oh ok i just noticed your asking amps to wats so now ill shut up and eat my rice cuz all this stuff does my head in .

I looked up this cooker it needs 100 watts to power it. Which is very efficient compared to most other options out there.

Takes about 40 minutes to cook rice and runs at about 95 watts. So under 100 wh.
