You can buy the AAD Performance kit that allows you to use the brembos and rotors only. Costs about the same, but to me, it makes more sense

I am getting parts for this upgrade to. I been hunting the spindles for a while; no college fund to take from.

I used the braided lines but they aren't required. I believe the factory R/T hoses are different part numbers from the Brembo cars (Hellcat, SRT, Scat Pack).

Can you tell a difference? Is it worth it ?

Hey FYI you will have to switch out the knuckles in the rear. The mounting points are way smaller than that of the brembo knuckles.

Real soon, need some data logs from the PLX wideband and a tune revision. Negligible gains if I throw it on now as the current tune is on the safe (rich) side.

i wanted to do this install on my 5.7 Daytona, I tested the stopping distance with the Daytona with the stock R/T brakes and it was 126 feet, I haven't tested the Scat Pack yet with 6 piston Brembos, we just got snow so it will have to wait until next year, interested to see how the 392 cam works for you on the dyno.

I'm not sure if I should buy the calipers new or pull the trigger on used ones depending on the photos and description provided as am not located in the US, so 'am not gonna find out how functional they are until they are shipped to me. Will the extra $ for new ones worth it?

@@riology2234 I'd be cautious buying front calipers as most often than not, that's where the collision damage is. I'd look for leaks or any deep scratches in the aluminum body of the caliper as well. Worse case they make a good core if you do have to replace. I could not find the front spindles for a decent price so I purchased new.

Wish they used the same spindle for all the trims! Seems like the other domestic vehicles only require calipers/rotors. I think the rear requires SRT aluminum knuckles as well-let me know if I'm wrong. Thanks for watching!

This is awesome man I actually got a bad ass deal I swapped the whole front suspension including diff and axles and brembos from a 2012 srt charger to my 2010 challenger r/t for only $600 for everything

@@ilerodriguez4427 the 6.4? Another great mod, Dodge really went cheap on the active runners option on the passenger cars (the 5.7 Ram has it) but at least they offer the Brembos on new 5.7 Chargers/Challengers now.

Great questions, I used the factory spec SRT-8/SRT calipers without spacers and I think they are 20x 9

Picked them up from Brunswick Auto Mart, best shipping prices to Oahu. Front knuckle left: p/n 5181896AD Front knuckle right: p/n 5181895AD About $480 each to my door and you can mount 6 pistons to them if you want.

Yes, as long as you have the SRT spindles. Also check the backspacing of your wheels.

Front knuckles: Left: 5181896AD, Right: 5181895AD Calipers: Left: 5175107AB, Right: 5175106AB or you could use any 4 or 6 piston Brembos from Charger/Challenger Scat Pack, SRT, Hellcat cars. Rotors and brake pads: I used the PowerStop kit from Rock Auto. I'll probably put this kit up for sale if interested, let me know if interested.

I have everything for this mod except for the knuckles which I couldn't find a way to get them but new, n they are really expensive! May I have an assistance with that?

I might do that as I think the factory R/T calipers are the same size/weight as SXT. At this point the mod is more for aesthetics.

Will 2010 brembo set up fit a 2014 ?

I think so, see if the p/n for the spindle for your vehicle is the same p/n for the 15 and up. I do know they will not fit an AWD model Charger/Challenger.

Where did you buy your spindles and Do you know if they make a bracket?

For a 4,000 lb+ car, it is hands down my favorite and most practical mod.

They make an adapter for the original spindle it’s basically bolt on

The Scat/SRT wheels were too close to the spindle for my liking. Do you have a link for the adapter?

Doing this exact conversion. Having a rubbing issue with the caliper and the rotor hub. Did you have the same issue?

Did you use the SRT spindles? And OEM/reman calipers? Sorry to hear that man. The only thing I didn't replace were the dust shields. Actually had tire rubbing using the R/T spindles and the Scat Pack wheels, since corrected with the SRT ones.

You can do this yourself with 4 jack stands + floor jack + g2 yellow high temp caliper paint and primer (2 in 1) for just $300 in total

Grape Eggplant nothing wrong with that. I painted my brembo’s yellow with g2 caliper paint and they look identical to these. Just throwing that idea to anyone else that’s looking to get colored calipers theirselves

@@Clutched392 yeah but it looks like you have a scatpack, don't those come with 4 piston brembos? If thats the case, then there's nothing wrong with painting them. But when you need the parts (such as with the man in this video) in the fist place to have the set up, then that's a different story. The color is irrelevant to installing brembos on a lower trim charger is my point

Calipers from eBay, rotors from rockauto and the spindles from Brunswick Auto Mart, Front knuckle left: p/n 5181896AD Front knuckle right: p/n 5181895AD Take your pick for either 4 or 6 piston calipers.

Right at $600 for rotors, pads, braided steel brake lines and calipers (second hand). However, you'll have to source the SRT spindles either new or from a salvage yard.

Not entirely clickbait, calipers (new takeoffs), Powerstop rotors and pads were $597. You will need to source the SRT spindles though.
