I have 2016 Challenger Shaker. Just got srt8 brembo caliper set front and rear. Sandblasted and ready to be powder coated. The question is, Do I need to get srt8 spindles to fit the caliper i have? My wheels are 20"

Would you happen to remember if the Caliper mounting bolts were the same ones you used to put the brembos on?

I’ve always said this. Our 5.7s should come stock with ATLEAST 4 piston brembos!!! Instead of this upgrade I just did pursuit BR9 ones so I didn’t have to buy more wheels to fit over the brembos

If you wanted to go wit the 6 piston brembo those spindles are compatible. Rears stay the same.

Unfortunately the 6 pistons were out of my price range at the time. However I will be upgrading to them in the next year or so.

I just got my front spindles put on. Did you use the same bolts that mount the old calipers to mount the brembos, they seem to be the same. Also, there are no axle nuts up front right?

Did you do the rears yet? I have everything except for the drivers side rear knuckle. Cant seem to find one at a decent price. Ive been hearing that the rears are tough.

Kevin Kherkher I got an app called carparts.com that’s basically all the junkyards in the US. That’s how I found my spindles and knuckles

Sorry to ask but the only video I see people still asking, I was told for better rim clearance in the front to replace my front spindles on my RT 2017 for srt as they " have more clearance " but I'm wondering if I don't want to do the Brembo upgrade just yet can I use the regular brakes on the srt spindle.

I honestly don't know, I would think no because the SRT mounting points are set up to run a larger rotor so I would assume there would be an issue. I say just wait until you have the brembos and everything you need for the front

Quick question will 2007 charger SRT Brembos bolt directly on my 2015 charger RT Road and Track? I'm getting everything from SRT spindles front and rear disks, pads, brake line and 4 brembo calipers etc.

Yes, mine came off a 2010 srt8

So I would guess even before all this you need to get the Hellcat rims first because mine are from a 2013 Charger RT and the Wheel size is 245-45-20 and the Hellcat rims use 275-40-20 and is wide enough the fit the caliper and rotors. Spacers would solve the problem but I would prefer to get the wider rims first.

I just finished doing that swap. Make sure the brake line is attached to the caliper when you buy it. The stock rt caliper brake line will not transfer over. but the mounting point on the wheel well is a direct fit.

Does it matter what year of spindles/Brembo brakes you buy? For instance, I have a Challenger R/T Plus. I found a take off from a 2006 Chrysler 300 SRT. Any difference in years. Any difference in Chassis as for as Challenger vs Charger vs 300?

Not that this isn't a cool mod to do, I do have one alternative if you guys are looking to make your car stop better. Look into the BR9 brake package. There is even a forum thread on the BR9 swap with part numbers and everything. I mention this because this particular mod is going to set you back quite a few bucks and the alternative is significantly cheaper. Don't have to change spindles, you get 14.5" fronts where brembos can be either 14.2" to 15" depending on what model it come off of. The trade off is this, you get 2 piston cast iron calipers. These are the same brakes that come on all 2014.5 and up Charger Pursuit cars so parts are dirt cheap all things considered. Good vid though man. You didn't overcomplicate it. Just down and dirty. Liked your vid on the exhaust overrun too.

In Canada our bone yards have decent deals on different brembos but cost wise the br9 is the best bang for buck. You just don't get the red block calipers.

How long did it take you from the time you removed tire to putting tire back on?

As long as you have spindles from an SRT car you will be good to go

People when he said he had to gt it pressed out well all he had to do was put the nut back on till its level with the bolt then hit the nut with your hammer till it pops off then remove the nut and wala.😎
