Perth Fishing - We set out to chase some of my favourite demersal fish, Baldchin Groper and Pink Snapper, using some secret sauce 🤤
It was also a chance to show the next generation of Fishers how it is all done on a perfect weather, Autumn weekend.

That's awesome hey. A metro land based tuna or Mackie would be a bucket list catch for most people I reckon!

Nice catches mate. Do you just sound around until you find fish on the sounder to catch the baldies? I’ve never caught one Perth metro!

Cheers Wazza! There are patches of broken reef in the 28-30's that seem to hold a lot of them, but they can be hard to get fired up. I sound around those patches of reef until I see some fish showing up hard against the bottom and hover over them with the electric motor which helps keep the bait right in their faces! The bait I used in this vid out performs all others by a long shot - that is the case everywhere in WA that I have fished for Baldies. Second would be fresh squid/cuttlefish 👌
