It looks amazing! I loved it wild before, but it is just beautiful now. My neighbor gifted me a very large sky flower, full of blue blossoms. My pollinators love it also ❤❤

I think that is a Plumbago! I love them and they do very well. They will get large over time like a hedge.

I use olla pots to help add water to plants requiring more water. I sealed two terracotta pots together and closed the bottom hole to contain water in the pot.

I love how you have done this cottage garden with mostly native plants 😮. Are you going to put mulch on the newly planted bed?

Winged loosestrife is one of my favorite native plants! Lots of bees and hummingbirds like it too. Fits the cottage garden vibe well too. Highly recommend trying it out!

Any videos on low sunlight flowers that would go well next to a house under a tree. Perennials as well 😅

Winged loose strife was growing last year in the lot kitty corner to my house, which is very wet. It was a beautiful plant. There were a longhorn, bees, cuckoo, bees, leaf cutter, bees allover it. I took a photo of a longhorn bee with green pollen on her legs from the purple loosestrife - it was amazing. Also, both Joe pye Weed and the red hibiscus have great stems for little stem nesting bees. Oh, and the pluchea is visited by carpenter bees, and I saw it out in our local scrub the other day in a moister area, and there were female longhorn bees visiting it.

Looks great! I think the paver border for the wildflower bed was a great choice! I think starry rosinweed would be another great addition.

Looks great Jacqueline. That dirt looks so luscious. I think you could plant a dead plant and it would come to life in that soil.

Do yourself a favor and put some concrete sealer on those landscape blocks. It will help keep them from turning black from the dirt. And it makes them easier to clean off.

@@WildFloridian i use a product from home depot called wet look sealer. You can apply if via pump sprayer. Just put a piece of card board behind it so you dont get the overspray on the plants or soil. If your looking for something more eco friendly Im not sure then. All I know is when I see those blocks in peoples yards they are always black and filthy looking. Ive had great success with just about any concrete sealer from home depot or lowes. Hope that helps!

Hiya! Love you videos, as a fellow Floridian, do you have a video of how you transformed your soul from the typical Florida Sandy Soil into the nutrient rich soil you have now? I have a backyard space that has very sandy soil and spots of Bahia grass that I just want to completely revamp but I don’t know how to change the soil structure

Check this one out kzread.info/dash/bejne/p5mpm7yforLVgdo.html but @Eryalb and @coryhyatt2035 are correct... lots of mulch is how I got my soil to be so rich... and honestly since I had this soil exposed for a couple of months.... its much more sandy than it was.
