Charles Bradley together with the Menahan Street Band performed an emotional, dynamic roller coaster ride through all varieties of R & B at his 2013 concert, singing, screaming, whispering, dancing and sweating as if Beelzebub was after him. Bradley, the late-caller, gave back to soul music what once was its very own content: the soul.

After an hard life that brought him to being homeless in the streets he came back to the top of performance ....lucky to see him in NYC where he blasted the stage for the joy of all of us !!! ....R.I.P. my man !!!
Best show ever that I watched. Pure soul, he sing with his soul. What amazing singer!!!!! Rest in power and peace Charles Bradley.
I wish i could turn back time and at least witness one of his performances. This guy is a legend

I felt the same when I found out he passed away, I cried knowing that I'll never be able to see him perform live...RIP Charles Bradley

My mailman told me about him. And then we stood in an Alcove and sang some Marvin Gaye together. I took his my mailman's advice and got tickets to see Charles, but he cancelled his performance and died within the year. He lives on inspirit truly. My broken heart has so much light shining through, and I think his did too!

Dude I just found out about him and this is the first time in my life where I’ve found an amazing artist that I absolutely love. I found out cuz I was looking for tickets to one of his concerts. Been listening to all his live performances since 👌

The world needs him so much and he is gone.
so fortunate to have seen him once. at a small club in Denver, Colorado on Larimer. still one of the best live performances I've ever seen. and I saw the Stones play at Mile High stadium. couldn't even begin to compare to the fire and energy Charles brought to the stage.

Jeez, this is what I call a masterclass in how to be a band!
eins der besten konzerte ever.
It makes you wonder how many vintage treasures are still hidden out there.... Charles is like an uncovered time capsule of greatness. Discovered just long enough to release some of that pent up goodness, and then fade away. I'm glad he got to ride the lightening a little bit, and go out on top.
damn the way this was filmed makes it feel like a scene from a movie, especially his entrance.

Literally first time I heard him I saw his record for Victim of Love in a shop and was like..."This guy looks like he can do unphathomable things with his voice, and was not disappointed at all. Love him, so heartbreaking he's passed. So long Soul Brother

same feeling as you got, instead, i saw his album Changes from internet and i heard the image of his face on the cover said "i got some stories, come here and listen them".
Today I woke up cranky. I mopped the kitchen's floor with your music, Mr Bardley. It is damm clean!... man, you brought happiness to the world. Thanks forever. RIP.

Was lucky enough to stumble across Charles and the extraordinaries in the early hours at a festival in sweden many years ago, he was a colossal energy, absolutely mesmerising performance that I will never forget. Play Charles bradley to everyone, it can only make the world a better place!

Já estou há um ano quase que ouvindo diariamente, mas ainda consigo me emocionar com essa cara.
Increíble que hasta ahora se conozca a éste grandioso artista, estoy agradablemente sorprendido de éste recién descubrimiento musical nuevo para mí, único y original talento innato de todo el grupo y sobre todo de su cantante. Debo decirte que lentablemente el falleció hace ya unos años atrás producto del cáncer al estómago que le dio, su carrera fue corta, casi un cometa pero dejo un par de discos buenísimos, el gran Charles Bradley !!
Eres un gran ejemplo musical Charles Bradley... Tú esfuerzo y perseverancia te han convertido en una leyenda.

I was on a carpool-ride and the driver put him on the stereo, I was blown away! That same day I saw a TV-show (thanks to Arte here!) with him and Sharon Jones riding in a car together through the night. What a coincedence, my understanding for music was different from that day on.
