Very useful. I’ve noticed I’ll get chunks of life knocked off when risen shagaru does the consecutive hand slams. With guard up, and guard at max (plus red shield) while just blocking. Yeah i was running into issues with anomalies and asked why am i taking so much damage with guard up 3? One rabbit hole adventure later and now i can tank everything with minimal chip.

Guard 5 for sure with guard up 3, but embolden online is basically just a spidey sense for most situations, telling you if you are being targeted.

Very usefull, but the charts were a headache to go through, specially the guard at 1:37

yeah this was as simplified as i could get it without dropping vital info. I sifted through kiranico's db and collected the guarding power values and then did some math to calc how much guard was needed for each level. I tested on toadversary to double check my numbers.

Embolden level provides 1 level of guard, so it would be the same as guard level 4.
