Hi Andry ! Love your content. As a Muslim i didn't focus with the previous logo and what it may symbolized for others, but my respect and apreciation for you has increased immensly after this video and what you explained. Hats off to you.

As a semi-pro balloon enthusiast I must warn you that the way the girl is handling the balloon is totally against safety regulations. It also means "god" in balloon sign language when inverted vertically and horizontally, tilted diagonally and seen with one eye closed while doing a handstand. Coincidence ?

Sorry, a critical thought here: If you aren’t good at making organic characters, why would you put one in your logo? People who sees it for the first time, will possibly assume you made it, and then expect you to be able to do those types of characters? It makes more sense to make a logo that reflects you, your strengths and what you can offer to the clients. That is, of course, unless you are planning to expand and hire a character designer full time… just a thought I had. I still love your videos and your work is brilliant none the less!

Andrey, maybe as a new brand you should ask a graphic design agency to work on a real visual identity for your company. They could take into account your personal history, your expectations, your ambitions. It would also avoid this kind of problem. These are difficult things to predict, but I imagine professionals are considering this kind of eventuality. That would be my advice. Good luck !

What an idiotic comment. Is not about offending anyone, is the obvious similarity between the logo and the word Allah. Is like someone decides tomorrow to use a cross for their company logo. Educate yourself before spewing idiotic comments, the world doesn't evolve around your idiotic western concepts, the world is far bigger and it includes multiple old civilizations with their own particularities.

See the to satisfy a WHY question requires all parties to be in the same level of understanding. I will provide my level of understanding and would ask yours so we can reach an equilibrium amidts this chaos. My suspicion is that being offended like (OoNaxoO) in his comment, by people who get offended by religious symbols that does not conform to their specific culture, stems from an assumption that people like Andrey or any company, make adjustments in their design just to please ALL people and in doing so and if done by a lot of people - can hurt creative expression in general if the trend persists. I also assume that your genuine query stems from being a designer restricted in using such symbols in your own design. Based on these assumptions my answer to your why question is... Logo design should be pleasing to everyone even to the designer. If the designer finds it unpleasing because of unpleased people the designer can simply change the design. Not knowing why religous symbols can be seen as offensive when misused is not idiotic but ignorant. We are all ignorant before we got educated and when other people think we are dumb it's simply because they subscribed to a different school of thought. So offense is taken when we are dumbified by our education, culture, and make comments that subsequently do not conform with the other. Respect is given to people like andrey who sees the diversity in his audience and asks their opinions because it implies they include everyone in their design process. Even threw in a job oppurtunity which is an elegant solution. As the company owner he said he would not want to be in a situation where a client will point out the religous symbol misues. Unless the designer intends offense... there is no logic or benefit in keeping an unintentionally misused religious symbol as a logo. I sincerely hope this satisfies your query and I look forward to your feed back.

Hey Andrey. As a Muslim, I didn't even notice what some others pointed out. It's only after watching this video that I (kind of) see it now. Honnestly it was completely unnecessary to change your logo. But I understand where you're coming from when you talk about respecting others, as well as clients potentially mistaking your logo for what it is not. A logo is the image of a company so it's a wise decision to steer away from any confusion or miscommunication. Looking forward to future videos.

Definitely appreciate your consideration in the matter. With a more global world and global audience it is important to take into consideration such concerns, as a lot of things can get lost in translation. That said, the new logo looks a lot like the girl with balloon stencil Banksy put on the wall in Palestine. Completely unacceptable!!! Just kidding. But I agree, modeling / rigging / animating human characters is hard! And as the father of an almost 5 yr old daughter it's a lovely and hopeful image. :)

About the new idea for your logo. „Kid with the baloon“. banksy the streetartist from the UK did already a very famous variation of this image, Maybe you consider this idea as well, because the new logo simply would always attach to banksy s famous peace. So my suggestion would be, you focus on the idea of the baloon. As a basic shape The baloon / circle would compliment with your previews idea of the triangle.
