This song got me out of DEEP depression when my ex wife divorced me to be with someone else. By the time she realized her mistake (5 years later) I met my current wife who has been my heart for 16+ years now.

It's irony how her last name is Savage because she absolutely went beast mode on this song. Love me some Gloria Gaynor, but I gotta give my girl Chantay the nod for this track.

She did that, the remake of a classic was done flawlessly. Her version came out when I broke up with my first boyfriend in the 90s, I was 19 years of age, I'm 47 today with a grown man for 22 years. The best line for me was "so long bye-bye" I love it.

A classic song from the late 1990's when I was in kittrell job corps center in North Carolina. This is a true song of survival for everyone going or having gone through something and now you can hold your head up high. God is definitely good. Chante savage did a fantastic job on this song. My cousin used to play this Song none stop every Sunday while she's cleaning the house I was about 5/6 that time this tune was my childhood soundtrack, I love it till today

sometimes i have regrets to leave my ex thats doing time in prison but i tried that prison wives shit an it was not easy an then we aint gone talk about the visitation process omg be strong follow your intuition not your heart

I bought her CD in 1996 when i was 14 @ Wherehouse Music, and I still have it. Who still has this CD in 2021? The intro to this song that's not included in the music video is of her seeing it acapella for a few minutes before background music starts..... boy, it's just as moving.
