People who are strictly "Angel Reese only" fans do the same exact thing as the "Caitlin Clark only" fans. I'm a fan of both so I watch videos that praise/criticize Caitlin and videos that praise/criticize Angel. I always see both sides doing what they accuse the other side of doing. No, it's that while Reese is trashing Clark in social media and going to bars to party after she loses a game, Clark is doing charity work for kids and after she wins a game, she stays in the arena hours after everybody else goes home to practice. They have two completely different work ethics with all due respect. Today, Caitlin broke 2 more WNBA records. Actually, one of those records she set (first rookie Triple Double) while catapulting her team into the playoffs and all against the #1 team in the league, the New York Liberty. She also pushed her team in over Reese in wins. Reese has only broken one record. Clark broke 11 records + the two records she broke today for a total of 13 broken WNBA records and that's not including the NBA record she broke. Nobody is talking about this, but she is dominating Reese in 7 of the top 10 stats when compared directly against each other. There's no way Reese could be ROTY just because she broke 1 record while Clark broke 13 records and Clark AND her team are outscoring Reese and her team.

Only casual fans would think individual awards is better than being CONSISTENT. Consistency is a better value than every once in a while. Clark lead the W in turnovers and causing others to have turnovers. She like Luka when it comes to holding on the ball and then she passes it with 4 seconds left. Most of Boston turnovers are from Clark passing her the HOT POTATO it the last fews seconds.

Chennedy Carter and Kamila Cordoso are great teammates for Angel Reese to have and with Teresa Weatherspoon as their coach the Chicago Sky will win more soon.

But we all understand that the all-star selection is a popularity contest. Many are called, few are chosen. if you notice Reese is barley contested on those 3's. try that being double teamed in close from 1/2 court. no one within 6 feet of her on most of those.

I got Caitlyn Clark by a hair and it's only because she's asked to do more for her team... also Angel has a a size advantage in a league where size matters... Angel I think has the more WNBA game ready body and style of play than CC right now... CC is a little undersized and has deal with other teams game-planning for her... that generally entails being doubled, picked up at half-court, Angel doesn't generally command a double team or some sort of trap... but make no mistake this thing could go either way, and prediction aside I think we'll wind up having co-ROY award winners from these two incredible women... that All-Star game is going to be actually exciting seeing the two play together for the first time for the same same squad...

Reese is game planned as well, and she does more for her team, as she plays way more defense than Clark (up top or down low, on switches), as she can initiate her offense from up top or down low. Clark, can only shoot with space or when it's a lay up, and she can't guard bigs, mind you her own guards. Reese can guard all 5 positions. Clark, can't even guard her own. This is why Reese metrics, are way higher than Clarks, and Trumps her in all of them by considerable margin.

Miss a shot. Get a rebound. Miss a shot. Get a rebound. Miss a shot. Get a rebound. The Angel Reese plan for 12 straight double doubles.

She has the game part down, but in addition to game you need; communication skills, presentation (overall professionalism), intelligence, positive attitude, physical attraction (pleasant to the eye), charisma. Carter has NONE of those, none; game??, we have seeing many wnba players with skills, just like Carter, but that has not proved to be the winning ingredient. You can complain and cry about it, but that’s the market. Take it or leave it or adjust to it and succeed. Your choice; no one said life was fair.

Are you all going to pretend that rebounds/ scoring double doubles are unique? It happens from post players in almost every game. You're talking about 10 rebounds and 5 layups. Reese is consistently a good rebounder, that's pretty much it. Scoring / assists double doubles are rare and triple doubles are almost nonexistent. CC is the first one in Indiana history to have one and the first rookie ever to have one. She's the only player in the league averaging over 15 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds and is leading Angel in almost every category except rebounds. There's a lot of games to go, but as of today it belongs to CC easily. There's a lot of made up stats out there to try to prop AR up like win shares, power rankings, aura, etc. but numbers don't lie, people do.

Another bad shooting game as well and Shes the worst defender on the team. She's still playing well overall for a rookie but she's not a complete player. She plays well on one side of the court and usually guards the teams worst offensive player. AR is guarding the best players every night while breaking records as well. Shes playing "Championship Basketball" like she did at LSU. CC plays LUKA, James Harden basketball lots of triple doubles no defense and no rings. Very good players but not winning players.

It's not no super specific records by a rookie on a Tuesday against this team in this many games. 😂😂😂 Nobody gave her credit for a whole month of near double doubles. Angel is running away with it. Clark had a base level triple double 15 11 and 10. Lol Barbie is doing 25 and 16 20 and 10 27 and 10 18 and 17 numbers. 😂😂😂 And hasn't looked back after that 1st double double. She's got all the advanced metrics in her favor and her team is the 7th seed meaning they not fighting got a playoff spot.

Clark is the obvious ROY. There's no real debate, and she will be ROY when it comes to pass. This alone settles it - At the moment, according to defensive analytics, she has been blitzed, double-teamed and given more defensive pressure than ANY other player (not just rookies) in the league. That includes Stewart, Wilson, and all the top stars. Clark is putting up huge numbers while being the most closely guarded player in the WNBA by a wide margin. That kind of offensive aura and pull doesn't show up in the stats, but this is an MVP statistic - we're way beyond ROY. She has an actual Steph Curry like effect with incredible focus the defense has to put on her. Add to that, she is averaging 17 pts, 10.5 apg, 8 rpg and 2 stpg over her last 8 games (damn near a triple double), and it's clear that she is really trending upward. 4 of her last 5 games had 10+ assists. Reese is a great rookie - and in many other years she would be ROY or a serious candidate. She should have been the #2 overall pick. Her rebounding is truly elite. But she's not even in the same conversation as CC in either talent or impact.

She is only a one side dominate player. AR plays championship team basketball that wins. CC is like James Harden. You didn't actually address anything I said - instead it was "what about" 10 different things, and several of these are just blatantly false. She's shooting 39% not 33%, maybe that was a typo - otherwise, silly to lie. She's not even top 15 in the league in usage. She's 25% behind the leaders. Regardless, nothing about her style EVEN REMOTELY resembles James Harden - that is an insane thing to say, that tells me you're illiterate when it comes to basketball (or don't know what Harden's style is lol). She does play defense. Did you know that all four of her starting teammates are beneath her in defensive rating? lmao. The first dozen games in particular, they were just terrible defensively as a team. Clark is not a bad defender - she definitely looks like a rookie out there sometimes, but she's by no means a bad defender if you just use your eyes and watch the game. The opposing defense doesn't even attempt to pick on her - which says it all. The high TO's come from a multitude of things - I've watched about 90% of Clark's minutes, so I've seen almost every TO, and suffice to say that we'll see that trend down, with 13 assist and 4 TO games like today being her norm.
