6:05 - Rookie Of The Year Race Heating Up
6:15 - Angel Reese Highlights
6:51 - Chennedy Carter Highlights
For some WNBA fans, the Rookie of the Year race between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese may be closer than it appears.
Clark is seen as the odds-on favorite to take home the honor, though Reese is just behind and closing. Andy Bailey of Bleacher Report showed that the race may be closer than the betting odds imply, sharing a poll where he asked fans to pick between the two when considering only their stats.
Bailey shared a poll that stripped away their names and asked fans to pick based only on their stat lines, with Reese earning close to 72% of the
Other analysts believe it could be a close race. ESPN's Doug Greenberg noted that Reese, the Chicago Sky big, is leading the WNBA with 11.4 rebounds per game and closing the odds to win WNBA Rookie of the Year.
"As a result, Reese's odds have gotten shorter and shorter to win Rookie of the Year," Greenberg wrote.
But Greenberg stressed that Clark, the Indiana Fever guard, remains in the lead for the honor.
"Even with Reese gaining on her, Clark's advantage hasn't really deteriorated: The Iowa native currently has -600 odds to win Rookie of the Year at ESPN BET and, at one point, was showing -3000, an incredible 96.77% implied probability," Greenberg wrote.

Angel was never supposed to fall to number 7 in the draft pick. Everything happens for a reason. Her rebounding and inside presence is what that team needs from her. Chennedy and Aja Wilson are the most superiors at their positions. The team that let Chennedy go was a fool. Her dribbling, slashing, quickness and shooting are exciting to watch. Even if Chennedy collapses the opposing team defense, she still can find away to make the shot. Her shot making bag is deep. I see a little bit of Kyrie, but a lot more Allen Iverson. Kamilla is not dominating like they expected her to. She doesn't have that "dog" mentality like Angel and Chennedy. I wasn't surprised at Angel making those 3 pointers. I see her making them in practice consistently. Angel can play point/forward like a Scottie Pippen if they needed her to. She played the point gaurd position in high school. She should use those skills on taller defenders, instead of posting them up. It's easier for them to double team her in that position as well. The WNBA is highly marketing Caitlin Clark. Whether she deserves it or not, they will be giving her the ROTY award.

Angel is having a terrific season and performs her rebounding/scoring responsibilities well, but she is not close to Caitlin’s talent level. Caitlin has much more responsibility because she’s the point guard. Double doubles really are not a thing otherwise you would have known who owned the “record” previously. Additionally, rebound-point double doubles are not that difficult to achieve for a low post player, they should get them or come close every game. Assisting is a much more difficult skill.

You don't have the monopoly of what is class or not lol. Her attitude on the court has nothing to do with class but basketball. She is a class act who is just misunderstood because She is out spoken and some people don't like that especially ever since She did you can't see me sign at CC.

@@ndjibukabengele973 I think what really hurt Reese with a lot of people is her celebrating a cheap shot that her teammate did on Clark, in any men’s sports fists would start swinging Those are things u just don’t do and then someone cheering on the sideline like that is CLASSLESS

Reese went to sleep with CC Derangement Syndrome tears like “Mother….she got a triple double?” Pay that rent to Shejus Clark McNasty, on your best day you’ll never be as good as Clark.
