No reason to qualify the statement with "for a rookie". Caitlin is killing it. Overall 13th in the league. And will likely rise as she makes the transition to pro. The only hurdle she has to clear is the coach. Sides is clearly unprepared to elevate CC's game or take advantage of all the tools she brings with her. Not the least of these characteristics is Clark's maturity and leadership. A few more games and Clark will be running the team. She has an embarrassment of riches. Shoots with quality Passes with precision Handles the ball with ease Rebounds... Assists... It would be easier to list her weaknesses... drawing a blank... I'm sure something will come to mind... eventually. Maybe not...

Clark flops a lot, Lots of players do it, right up to LeFlop, but it's not that great a look. Now, Carter deserved a T and the pro rules used to treat dead-ball fouls with more severity (I don't know what the current status of that rule is), so there's that, but given Clark's history of flopping it's reasonable to look closely at whether she really needed to take a header and maybe that's why the refs undercalled it.

There are "some" players who get really irritated when they realize there is another player whose talent is so great that the only way to neutralize them is to cheat. This is the situation with Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark. Clark is on a higher level of talent than Reese is accustomed to so she has to push the envelope with Clark by trying to bully her into being less aggressive. It won't work as we can plainly see but Reese getting called for fouls against Clark is only going to add to the frustration Reese feels towards Clark whom Reese feels is getting undeserved attention. Jealousy pure and simple.

That flagrant is either because of Ineptitude, or is an assault. And either way the result puts the health integrity of the victim at risk.... So... the penalty for the player committing the foul should be regardless “of her intentions” Please understand this before making foolish claims... just check out Messi’s career at Barcelona to understand

This comparison is not even close! Bird and Magic were both superstars and the face of the NBA. Caitlin is a Superstar but Reese is at best a role player who thinks she's better than she is. There was no jealousy between Bird and Magic. They were rivals on the court but friends off. Reese is just a racist who hates that a white player is better then her. Plain and Simple. Mr. Hamilton, you are so off the mark on this one.

Bird and Johnson’s rivalry started in college and the NBA embraced that and it brought more viewers at home and filled seats in the arena. I think the Fevers issue is a problem they still have on the bench. There is a reason Christie Sides has been to SO many teams Chicago Sky (assistant) 2016-2017 Northwestern (ass. HC) 2017-2019 Indiana Fever (assistant) 2019-2022 Louisiana-Monroe (ass. HC) 2022 Atlanta Dream (assistant) and 2023-present Indiana Fever again

Caitlin Clark Until stumbling over a news item, I had less than no interest in women's basketball, at any level. . One Second of seeing CC-22 impersonating Stephen Curry hooked me! The second second and I realized Caitlin Clark wasn't copying anybody! . Because what I know is based on clips showing her shooting half-court 3-pointers and making magical passes, reminiscent of Magic Johnson to Kareem when everyone in the stadium and home in front of their television KNEW the Sky-Hook was coming and nobody could stop it, I see patterns where the playing style of CC-22 is changing the team. Boston figured out that all she has to do is get below the basket, stick out a mitt and the basketball would appear in it. . Anyway, I think she is playing perfectly, playing her game and letting the team adjust to things like having a pass actually come to them, and supporting each others play. I think I see a team in name becoming a team in practice.

I’m so glad that foul got called a flagrant because it was in that post game conference Angel Reese realized that all her frustration towards Caitlyn Clark wasn’t about CC her frustration was towards the Media and CC fans for all the drama when she walked out of there she understood exactly what she had to do she refocused on herself and basketball and since then she has been a walking double double June Rookie of the month made the all star game 11 straight double double Won the BET sportswomen of the year award but I can honestly say she only won that because Caitlyn Clark name wasn’t included and the facts that after CC she is the next popular female athlete see how honest I can be about giving CC her props oh AR fans really didn’t even have vote her into the all star game she was going to get in regardless because her consistent play said she was an all star I don’t think we can say the same for Caitlyn because if y’all could have I would not have seen on every social media comment fans pleading for her fans to go vote more than one time to make sure she is in the all star game ijs cry me a river

I’m a big Caitlin Clark fan and I happen to think Angel has beef with her because of Caitlyn‘s popularity and immense financial success but any baller knows looking at that film Reese was going after the ball. Leave it to the press to always try to manufacture a fake narrative, suggesting Reese with intentionally try to harm Clark. Reese is a physical player and at the time of this comment has 11 straight double doubles. Again, I’m not a fan of hers, but fair is fair stop the cap.

Clark-Reese could be (have been ?) to the WNBA what the Bird-Johnson were to the NBA... BUT the major difference is that although the later pair were fierce rivals and trash talked, they did not take cheap shots at one another on the court. I hope Reese finds the good in herself and drops the pettiness ... cause now she really looks bad in this story, which will loose her a lot of money. What company wants to endorse the "villain".

Angel Reese makes me absolutely pissed that I had formerly defended her prior to the WNBA draft. I played off Reese making those gestures and light trash talking in the college days as simply part of the game, albeit there was some bias, as I am from Louisiana and felt happy for LSU's success. Within their rookie seasons in the WNBA, Reese opened up my eyes to what everyone else had said about her when she was petty enough to defend Chennedy Carter. All she has done is further enforce the stereotype of LSU cultivating a toxic culture in terms of sportsmanship, and I believe that she needs her wings clipped, for her malignant personality is the antithesis of the name she bears.
