It just occurred to me that skills and talent alone will not make an athlete. One need to add character to the mix, and this is what CC is demonstrating. Everyone else should pay attention to that!

I agree 100%. She has no problems letting her teammates shine and that is the mark of a true champion. She is also a great role model for kids, something this world needs a lot more of. I'm not even a big fan of sports but watching her play reminds me Larry Bird and it is a thing of beauty to behold. She drains those 3 pointers like a walk in the park. She knows how to play as a team and the numbers back it up.
Caitlin Clark is poety in motion. I'm wasn't a WNBA fan until she came along. Her athletic abilities are truly one in a million. This type of anility is a once in a generation phenomenon.

18:07 "...Truly extraordinary." Absolutely correct! God bless CC … Her Majesty Queen Caitlin … on her WNBA journey. She is just beginning and already she's creating a revolution in women's basketball. Her character, maturity and smarts provide the perfect foundation for a superstar in the sport. Thank goodness, just the same, for her family's influence in bringing up a lovely, remarkable and wholesome young gal. Terrific job indeed. 👍 To think CC is only GOING TO GET BETTER. Even amid the envy / jealousy of immature, mean, ignorant brats, BTW. 😉 God bless you, Caitlin Clark. Exemplary, role model personally and professionally.

Caitlin Clark is a phenomenon. She attracts even previous non-basketball fans.
WNBA players : Pfft, that scoring won't translate in the WNBA. Caitlin Clark : *scores a lot in her first few games* WNBA players : Pffft, but she still ain't winning. Caitlin clark : *finally wins 4 straight games* WNBA players : "Nah, we still hate her, just because we're annoyed that everyone started watching WNBA because of her and not because of us when we've been doing this for years"
I don't care what colour anyone is, just give this baby her flowers. Pure talent and raw hardwork.
husband speaking age 81 - I have never cared much for basketball, even in college I never attended any of our teams games. Just watching Caitlin run the ball with such speed, pass behind herself, swift passes to team mates, has really amazed me. She is a super knowledgeable player and will lead women's basketball to a higher level of respect. Her constant long distance throws are unbelievable. Will she make me a fan of basketball ? No, I just don't care for the sport.
It all started with her father
I never watch women’s basketball until Caitlin Clark came along granted I only watch when she’s playing.
Loved This!... Love HER❤
Just unbelievable! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What I see is history repeating itself. MJ came into the league with a shoe deal before his first pro game. He brought eyes to the league that never watched before. He had charisma that others didn’t have. Though he was a great basketball player, it was more than that. Every kid wanted to be like Mike. Because he had that special something too few people have. Caitlin has that same feeling emanating from her. It’s not just basketball, it’s more than that again. I think that within the next few years, the WNBA will be the most watched sport in America. There is a lot of young talent coming in the next few years. If the women that are there today want to be part of this growing energy, what they helped build, then now’s their time. If they squander this opportunity, the new young talent will still grow the game. But what they’ve done for the game so far will be forgotten. Last chance!

@@zeber75 Considering Caitlin Clark was being scouted and sent college recruitment letters as early as the 8th grade (same as Jordan & Bryant), she absolutely does qualify as a prodigy. From Miriam Webster's prodigy noun prod·i·gy ˈprä-də-jē pluralprodigies Synonyms of prodigy 1a: a highly talented child or youth b: an extraordinary, marvelous, or unusual accomplishment, deed, or event 2a: something extraordinary or inexplicable b: a portentous event : OMEN

Perhaps a Prodigy. Or perhaps a little girl that found her niche very early and mixed the fun of playing with the hard work of developing her skills to the very best she could? Some might consider her privileged, but I'd suggest she came from a loving family that gave their daughter the opportunity to do what she loved, and Caitlin grabbed hold of that chance and is still riding high.
