This is so helpful! I have been going back and forth on which size to get and I love the look of the medium, but the small can go from day to night much easier. So decision made…getting the small!

Great video and thanks for the comments. I have a large size in black silver hardware. I wanted to get a medium size, but I am wondering which hardware I should go to. I want something more casual but at the same time I don’t want silver as it’s same as my large bag. I am worried if I get gold i will use it less as too dressy if I use it during day time for grocery shopping.

Hi! Thank you so much 😊 I was in the same position as you, because I already owned my Maxi flap in black with silver hardware. So, when getting this bag. I debated and debated. Finally decided to go with silver again because I really enjoy that combo more. And, if ever I decide to sell the maxi in the future, this small one will be in my favorite combo. I feel like i’m loving smaller bags more lately so I do wonder if I will keep the Maxi forever. Gold is the most popular choice out there so if ever you decide to go that route its still an amazing choice. But I get you when you say you like to be more casual. Same for me. My question to you would be, is there a possibility that you will ever sell your Jumbo/large one day? If your answer is “no im keeping it forever” then why not get the medium with gold like this you will own both. Good luck with your decision! 🥰

Thanks so much for your reply. I don’t think I would sell my large in the future as I am loving it, unless I really need my money back. I do think silver makes you look younger than gold and it can be used for many occasions. If I have gold, I am not sure if I would use it that much. I would prefer to use it more often like for grocery shopping, picking up my kid my school, etc. than keeping it aside. If I have gold, not sure if it would look too much with gold chain hanging on my shoulder when running these errands.

I am getting my first chanel preloved and dont own any other bag. I am confused between mini rectangular champgne gold hardware vs small flap silver hardware. I am looking for more of an evening or going out bag. which one would you recommend? pricing is almost similar and both are in great condition though small one is a bit older. Hi Ritika! Congrats on getting your first Chanel bag, that is sooo exciting! I absolutely love both of these choices. So, I would say the only main difference between these 2 bags is really the length of the chain. The mini is a long crossbody lenght. The small is a shoulder length bag which means worn crossbody it arrives higher on the torso. You wrote that the price of the bags you are looking at is almost the same? I’m surprised because brand new in USdollar the mini is 4000$ and the small is 6200$ which is quite a difference. Is the price almost the same on the ones you found because the mini is a caviar and u’ll be paying premium? Or cuz you found a great deal on the small?

@@fashioncabin thank you so so much for replying 💗💗💗 actually small is from early 2000s, so around 20 years old but in great condition. It comes without box/card. These both reasons are reducing its price while mini is 27 series(probably last year) and comes with full set which means i am not saving much on mini. price difference is around $600 but i feel since these are so expensive, i can shell out extra dollars if i have to but wanted help in deciding. I feel i might go with small as like that style more. I hope not having full set will not cause any issue in future🤞🤞

Okay so, since lambskin mini’s are still being sold in store, I would make sure ur getting a good deal because if not you could get a brand new one for just a bit more money in store and get the whole experience and the bill etc.. I’m personally a big fan of caviar and I love quilted more than chevron so I would tend to say get the small, especially since you say its in amazing condition. And the prices of classic flap just keeps rising. Its such a hard decision though😩 Both are so good. Sorry I’m no help. If you are more attracted to the small size of the mini and you love the chevron then go for it. Definitely go on Instagram and search the hashtag “chevronmini” or “minichevron” and “chanelsmall” “chanelsmallflap” so like this you can see lots of people wearing them and pics of the 2 bags, might help you choose.😊❤️

Same reason why I picked the small as well it’s more versatile and looks better on me esp being only 5ft 2
