Watched when first released. Remember enjoying it even then. Nice plot, lovely songs/music, good actors etc. Though a 60's movie it is still fast paced. MGR and Jaya have paired well in this movie and both look very good too.

When Jayalaitha came to act she was only thinking: If i act with this man who is elder to me by 35 years, he will mentor me in future and make me the chief of his party and later the chief minister of tamilnadu for 15 years !!
