Amazing that a boy of 9 is already working hard and speaks English perfectly, Norwegians are doing it right. I have a feeling that most Nordic countries are like that-hardworking people who are self driven and care for others.

It is because the system allows for economic opportunity for new and uneducated workers. Korea's central philosophy, an offshoot of Confucianism has self-sufficiency and hardworking as central tenets (self sufficiency is more strict than self driven) yet the economy has been stagnant for over 20 years and over 15% poverty rate. Prosperity is never because one type of people is "more hardworking" than another, there are other factors at play

Amazingly entertaining series! Absolutely loved Halaigh - very natural, funny, endearing and has an honest interest in both the food, but more importantly the people and culture, of Norway. Well done Munchies, top production

Norway is so beautiful like other scandinavian countries,those mountains and that sight from the boat is gorgeous,,those cute houses,culture,sea,lifestyle i mean everything looks so well preserved ,wonderful country and people ..Boy Halaigh is great also for this show ,this is so addictive i cant stop watching lol

One of my favourite things on this channel! The cinematography is superb, the host is charismatic and jolly, and the locations are so interesting. Honestly this just feels like a younger version of something done by Anthony Bourdain! Would love to see this team with a show on CNN or something, because it is absolutely wonderful.

As a person who´s actually cut cod tongues for a bit I can tell you that it is a bit more physically demanding than you think.

this series needs to be made in much longer episodes, this host is so good, they just need to make hour long episodes of his travels

it wasn't learned in schools so much when these older people were younger so the kids learn it in school and pick up on it fast cos of all the english tv shows

Also the generation before his learned german at school (a certain short conflict changed that), so the english enviroment at the time wasn't really that great.
