Love the way you built something quite involved (from my newbie eyes anyway) and make it look so easy. My biggest take away was the the divider and adding loops to regain detail back. Thanks so much.

Amazing tutorial! I really appreciate the pacing on this video. Not too slow to constantly keep the watcher on their feet and paying attention, but not too fast to leave us in the dust. This is the first video I've followed along by your channel, but I'm definitely going to check out more, it really helps watching these videos to help develop my workflow! Thank you!!

Okay tbh I’ve been saving money for a pc it’s on its way I got everything needed I have a playlist of blender tutorials and I have a lot of furniture ones and not many character ones but I still wanna make animations even as a newbie but I don’t wanna just download something cuz I feel more exited when it’s my character and not someone else’s so I’ll just make the simples oc just to try animating him going on a chair and drinking from cups and stuff lol I already drew him it’s just basically a stick man lol no mouth cuz I’ve never even had a pc so ima start simple lol

Love how simple you make everything look, but under the hood it's pretty complex. I was wondering how you texture the environment so realistically. It's always give me trouble. Texturing is not my forté. Lol thanks for another super helpful tutorial. If you don't mind, how long have you been using blender? And how do you get your insperations?
@polygonrunway

There are actually no textures here, just simple materials with colors. The key is lighting ;)

@@polygonrunway oh I know. The lighting was really cool. Brings everything togeather really nice! I love how a flat plain curved upward made a really nice background after the lights were applied! But I was talking about the last project you used the chair in. The fire place one. That whole environment looked really nice with the realistic textures.

hey, I followed along and got stuck at the 9:50 where when I added mirror modifier, it just mirrored next to it not to the other side.
@ralphflores8065

In object mode, right click on the object, set origin> origin to 3d cursor. The pivot point (orange dot) of the object will be moved to the center where the 3d cursor is positioned so that when the mirror modifier is applied it will use the new pivot position as the reference.
