Nice place my friend Nick there is also the option of renting out the main house in the summer which gives more chances of a rent. While you live downstairs then in the winter move upstairs. This would allow for a larger income through the summer months. Just thought I’d throw that in to the mix.😊😊

I super like this house, it's courtyard, just-right sized garden ful of well established fruit trees, and that smart ground level apartment. My knees, ankles, and feet are very drawn to it 😄, tho can easily scale those few steps to lodge in winter. Visiting fam, friends, lodgers can go have a ruckus upstairs in a very typical family home. Oh, Nick, i really like this one and the location seems perfect, just off the highway but in a quiet town, not surrounded by flammable forest, and close enough to the ocean 😍. If i could, i'd put in an offer right now! 🥺 (😭) Thank you, Gloria and Nick. And i like your style, Gloria, salt of the earth and breezy 😉.

Ideal house for someone downsizing.. beautiful home and the garden is not too big.

Persimon, the soft one is a Hychia and the firm one is called Fuyu. Very popular in Japan. The soft ones can be dried like dates.

I always wonder : how cold does it get there in winter Time because you never have any kind heating system (besides 1 fireplace):….is. NO heating system necessary or do I always miss it somehow 😅😅😅

It can get as cold as 0°c and I expect it will get colder. I only have a woodburner in my place and the windows have more air than glass and its sufficient, new double glazed windows would be a big help.

Lovely house for someone, it would be nice to see on your videos a map of PT and where each property is, and also how close to the ocean beach each property is. Rivers are ok, but. Personally a fan of oceans.

Gloria or Nick, Was the downstairs apartment very fresh? Is there a little external shed to store your house & garden tools, mulcher, ladder, etc? If not, where would such implements be stored Does the washing machine in the downstairs storage/larder also dry laundry loads, too? I didn't see a clothesline anywhere outside. Vm like this property. My "by hook or by crook" button has been activated. Though, no actual crookery will be executed. How is the upstairs bedrooms and the apartment heated? Are the windows double glazed? Was that a stain on the top left quadrant of the far wall of the downstairs tv room? Water damage?

Hello, there is no heating except the fire place the windows are not doy le glazing the washing machine is dowstairs and there is a room dowstairs with external door to the gardens for storage
