The house looks very well keept but will need a big investment when it comes to heating it. The closeness to the neighbouring property would not sit well with me personally. As for using it as an BnB more bathrooms would be needed. So all in all it´ s to expensive as it needs a lot of uppgrades when it comes to heating and more bathrooms. Nice views and very tranquil area.

It’s the co ownership issue that’s a red flag for me - you can’t divide a plot - the neighbour effectively Co owns everything and you can’t then put up fencing to gain privacy - I would also worry about water rights in that situation or if in fact you are only buying half of the house - so many get caught like this don’t they ….

For the winter cold te best solution and most effective ,without a big investment is a wood burner/s or a pellet burner/s also you could complete it with some inverter air conditioner units ,,,,,that could be used to heat in the winter or get cold in the summer....

This beautiful house is only fir wealthy ppl, fir a "casa de campo" or vacation house, and the neighbors are very convenient bcuz they will watch over when you're not there

If I was younger I'd make a b andb. Would be a good income.well worth the price.

Nice place

Nice one but a bathroom on the second floor is much needed as well as in the attic. How much to put in a good heating system as I'm sure it must get pretty cold up there during the winter months? You should have brought food for the fish. Poor things, who feeds them if this place has been closed down for a while?

Very nice property nick big enough for my family i would like to know some things i will have dogs so the garden part will have to b fenced internet and tellephone its ok as told by Gloria and pleasei would also like if there be any anual rates fot the propertyi would like a reply if it still available Thanks Anthony

This was rushed and background shutter struggling didn’t take everything in plus no clear boundaries explained needed the A team on this one ! Could be hidden land access issues

Can i ask what would the taxes be for a foreigner (Yank) and other costs for not living there full time please?

If you email the agent she will know, yearly taxes on our house are €29.06 a year and you pay a minimal standing charge for water and electricity. Get in touch with Gloria though as she'll know the exact figures, email in description. You'll have to keep the land cleared by law also.

Paula is very professional and funny and she does not leave Nick on his own while he is filming and closes windows etc after the filming so you don't here all the background noise.

To me the land was very confusing and Gloria should have done her homework a little better. She was not too sure about the land and also if furniture was included. These are just my observations. But a very nice house.

Is it me or have the prices skyrocketed ? larger places and in good order i'll admit , but this one needs a huge amount put into it if you wanted to make it a decent air B&B or guest house . at least another 100k . Far more attractive places for sale in France at that total price and a far better investment .I have a feeling that Portugal is going to be almost unliveable in summer within a decade due to climate change so worth bearing this in mind before piling your life savings into something here( at the top of a property bubble) .

We don't have weeks of rioting in Portugal, that's the difference and also more accepting of immigration. Humans will adapt with climate change and we are seeing record heat across the globe sadly.
