Even though CW has gone through so many changes and new voices, I always love them all! I saw their very first concert on PBS when I was in 5th grade in 2005 and have loved them ever since! I love seeing how Chloe especially has grown soooo much and so beautifully since 2005!! Much love and light and success to all members! 💖🌹💐🌷🌸🌺🌼🌻🌙✨

I work in the entertainment industry, building concerts and events, and doing some technical work during shows. I was fortunate enough to be allowed to watch them Live in the U.S, and to be able to see the whole show before we had to tear it all down and send them on their way. It was a life-changing experience. I've been very unwell for a while and that moment made me so glad I've survived this long. I couldn't stop crying. It was surreal and GORGEOUS. Their crew were great, as well. Thank you, Celtic Woman, for being a balm on my weary soul, and for that stunning moment.

Lyrics: I was 18 when I came to town, they called it the summer of love They were burning pages, burning flags, the hawks against the doves I took a job at the steaming, down on Caltrim street I fell in love with a laundry girl that was workin' next to meOh, she was a rare thing, fine as a bee's wing So fine a breath of wind might blow her away She was a lost child, but she was runnin' wild She said as long as there's no price on love I'll stay And you wouldn't want me any other wayBrown hair zig zagged around her face, a look of half surprise Like a fox caught in the headlights, there was animal in her eyes She said, you man, oh can't you see, I'm not the factory kind If you don't take me out of here, I'll surely lose my mind photo Oh, she was a rare thing, fine as a bee's wing So fine a breath of wind might blow her away She was a lost child, but she was runnin' wild She said as long as there's no price on love I'll stay And you wouldn't want me any other wayWe busked around the market towns, and picked fruit down in Kent We could tinker rummers and pots and knives wherever we went And I said that we might settle down, get a few acres dug A fire burning in the hearth and babies on the rug She said, oh man, you foolish man, that surely sounds like hell You might be lord of half the world, you'll not own me as wellOh, she was a rare thing, fine as a bee's wing So fine a breath of wind might blow her away She was a lost child, but she was runnin' wild She said as long as there's no price on love I'll stay And you wouldn't want me any other wayWe were campin' down the Gower one time, the work was pretty good She thought we shouldn't wait for the frost and I thought maybe we should We were fighting more in those days, our tempers reached a pitch And like a fool I let her run, with the rambling itchOh, she was a rare thing, fine as a bee's wing So fine a breath of wind might blow her away She was a lost child, but she was runnin' wild She said as long as there's no price on love I'll stay And you wouldn't want me any other wayShe said as long as there's no price on love I'll stay And you wouldn't want me any other way

For whatever reason, this version ends a little early. Richard Thompson's concluding verses: Oh the last I heard she's sleeping rough Back on the Derby beat White Horse in her hip pocket And a wolfhound at her feet And they say she even married once A man named Romany Brown But even a gypsy caravan Was too much settling down And they say her flower is faded now Hard weather and hard booze But maybe that's just the price you pay For the chains you refuse Oh she was a rare thing, fine as a bee's wing And I miss her more than ever words could say If I could just taste all of her wildness now If I could hold her in my arms today Well I wouldn't want her any other way

It was so fun seeing Chloe once again, and we do so enjoy the addition of the dancing to the stage show. For us, this song is a highlight of the show, and one of the best Celtic Woman has ever done. Went to see them yesterday. Hadn't heard them before, but this song really grabbed my attention. All of them have beautiful voices and I'm glad I was talked into going!

I was nineteen when I came to town They called it the summer of love They were burning pages, burning flags The hawks against the doves I took a job in the steamie Down on Cauldrum Street I fell in love with a laundry girl Who was working next to me Oh she was a rare thing Fine as a Beeswing So fine a breath of wind might blow her away She was a lost child Oh she was running wild She said: As long as there's no price on love, I'll stay And you wouldn't want me any other way Brown hair zig-zag around her face, a look of half-surprise Like a fox caught in the headlights, there was animal in her eyes She said, young man, oh can't you see I'm not the factory kind If you don't take me out of here I'll surely lose my mind Oh she was a rare thing Fine as a Beeswing So fine a breath of wind might blow her away She was a lost child Oh she was running wild She said: As long as there's no price on love, I'll stay And you wouldn't want me any other way We busked around the market towns And picked fruit down in Kent We could tinker lamps and pots and knives wherever we went And I said that we might settle down, get a few acres dug Fire burning in the hearth and babies on the rug She said: Oh man, you foolish man, it surely sounds like hell You might be Lord of half the world, you'll not own me as well Oh she was a rare thing Fine as a Beeswing So fine a breath of wind might blow her away She was a lost child Oh she was running wild She said: As long as there's no price on love, I'll stay And you wouldn't want me any other way We were camping down the Gower one time, the work was pretty good She thought we shouldn't wait for the frost and I thought maybe we should We were fighting more in those days and tempers reached a pitch And like a fool I let her run with the rambling itch Oh she was a rare thing Fine as a Beeswing So fine a breath of wind might blow her away She was a lost child Oh she was running wild She said: As long as there's no price on love, I'll stay And you wouldn't want me any other way She said: As long as there's no price on love, I'll stay And you wouldn't want me any other way

Chloe is the only one I recognize. What happened to the rest of the original group? And where is Mairead? Nevertheless, being of Irish descent myself, I love their music. I even have 'The Irish Washer Woman' as my phone's ringtone. Chloe was beautiful before she lost weight, but now she's gorgeous! And has a voice to match. She has always been my favorite of the group. Lisa was next.
