I got to meet Alex tonight at a Christmas concert she's touring with in the US and Canada. She's so sweet ❤ I made a fool of myself crying, but she was very kind.

I'm a huge fan of Celtic Woman but this is the first time I've heard Alex and I'm blown away. She is amazing! Her stage presence is strong, yet delicate, and her voice is beautiful. You can tell how much she loves being there. The dance was powerful, as well.

@sapphire848 Alex Sharpe was a wonderful part of Celtic Woman but even before joining them she was an amazing Singer in her own right and has numerous awards for her music. Look here up here on KZread and listen to what she has done. I don't think you will be disappointed.

July 2021 and still listening to Alex!!!

As a mother/grandmother I can understand very well that Alex made the choice leaving the group to be closer by her family, although it must have been very difficult for her to leave Celtic Woman because you can tell, by seeing her perform, that she's like to sing and she's doing it so very well ! I wish her (and all the ladies who left Celtic Woman) the very best ! Thanks for the beautiful songs you've left us !

Alex is my fav of Celtic Woman. she really shows passion when she sings..and really looks like she loves singing...... she also really dances and moves alot to the music too. you can see her musicality completely in her whole being..not just in that beautiful lyrical voice! love you Alex!

Likewise, i admire her so much.

Alex is precise in hitting her notes. she interprets her song beautifully. She exudes sincerity and humility in her performance.

I don't care what you say about other women artists, but when Alex Sharpe sings, she is the sexiest woman on the planet. There is just something about her, that when she smiles, the world stops turning. And with that voice, the woman is a phenomenal artist. I'd really love to have seen her go to Mega Star status. She has everything it would take.

What a vibrant, upbeat performer. The Celtic Woman, as a group, will always be in my heart. Thank you Alex for an awesome performance. I would love to hear Alex and Phil Collins do a duet together of this song.

The person who doesn't get enough credit is David Downes. Not just for his arrangements and original compositions, but for his remarkable talent for finding talent.

I saw Celtic Woman live in concert, last year. I was 17 then. This December I'm going again for their Christmas show. I wish more people my age would appreciate them as I do. They're so gorgeous. I miss Lynn and Alex :(

SPEECHLESS...WORDS DONT DESCRIBE ALEX....

Was fifth row at one of their concerts...Alex's eyes when she performs are indescribable. They just glow and sparkle and suck you right in. Very striking. Definitely adds to an already brilliant performance.

I have to say that Alex Sharpe is my favorite CW performer. Not only does she have a beautiful, angelic voice but her expressiveness, particularly her eyes, are just so mesmerizing. I was heart broken when she left the group but I fully understand that family comes first.

alex sharpe is my favorite of celtic woman.. it is to bad she had left..:( her voice is amazing.. and not only her voice is amazing.. just the way she looks and the energy she gives when she sings.. her voice is beautiful and powerfull.. and look at 0:56.. it is like she is looking at you personaly..

Lynn looks even better since her time with Celtic woman but I think she may have had some work done. I would bang any Celtic woman member past or present

This is by far and away the best rendition of this song that has ever been produced. When you see the tiny origin of this song in the Tarzan movie, you can hardly believe that it can be produced to this level of excitement and emotion. The only troubling fact for me is where am I to turn to for additional output by Alex Sharpe. She is just too excellent to accept that she might drop off the map. The CW group has dumped so many fine performers that the least they could do is share where the girls are going next. It really makes me angry.

I said something similar in another clip. Singers these days where next to nothing, or some ridiculous outfit. Or they just scream and carry on and you can't even understand what they're saying.... These women have talent. Every one else pales

This song, along with the BEST Cetic Woman ever made is on the "Songs From The Heart" dvd. Yet a few songs are missing from the cd of same title

By far the best and most moving rendition I've heard to date. I can only hope that Alex will go on to do a solo CD. She is far too talented to fade into obscurity.

Phil Collins imagined the song "Son Of Man" as spoken by Tarzan late human father to his living son as he grows up with the apes that adopted him. It was him expressing his pride in Tarzan for the kind of man that he would grow up to be, Even if that man turned out to be blessed with the skills and mannerisms of an animal.

Alex has the prettiest smile.

I agree with you completely! He's the one who put this group together, had the original idea, got the girls involved, found so many good singers to fill in, then of course we have all the beautiful songs he's arranged. The man is truly brilliant!

Just watched it again and I had the same reaction! This song, her voice, and the fireworks combine to make this absolutely perfect.

This is one really beautiful song made even more so by the beautiful voice of Alex Sharpe. I never cease to be amazed by the dramatic ending !
